Unfortunately, Review Workflows cannot currently be exported or managed retroactively through project templates. We are continuously adding new workflows to our project template. However, there is currently no way to automatically apply workflows from the template to existing project spaces. As a result, every change has to be implemented manually across existing projects, which creates a significant amount of additional effort. Possible Solutions A) Apply template changes to existing project spaces Whenever a change is made to the project template, provide the option to select which existing project spaces should receive the updated workflows. B) Import/Export Functionality for Reviews Introduce an import/export function that allows Review Workflows to be exported from one project and imported into another. C) Central Workflow Library Manage Review Workflows through a central library, similar to the existing Forms functionality. Hi, there is the need to mark non-editable documents for under-review or version controlled item. The documents can only be viewed, but adding check-in/out, notes, review workflows to rev-up a new version of the document (with editing out of the Forma platform) will allow to maintain also these other documents current.  Show More

We would like to request to be able to allow specific documents from the Library to be assigned to separate templates, especially for cost management documents.  Currently, we have MANY cost documents.  Some apply to one type of template, while the rest applies to our other type of template.  If users are trying to issue contracts via cost management, they have to scroll through all of the documents added from the library and pick/choose the correct version.  There are just too many, I know, but they're all needed.  As it is now, ALL of the documents from the cost management library go to all projects, regardless if they'll be used on that project or not.  I'd love to be able to assign library documents to specific templates. In UNIFI when a content request was submitted our admins would be emailed. Also, any changes to the status of the request would email the admins and the user who submitted the request. This feature helped our team coordinate work and provided users with updates related to their content.    Currently in Content Catalog admins have to manually refresh the webpage to see new requests.  Show More

Section assignees within a Forms template can currently only be configured at the individual project level, after the project has already been created. There is no way to pre-configure section-role assignments at the Hub Admin Library or project template level, meaning this setup step has to be repeated manually for every single new project. For an organization running a high volume of projects (200+ per year) built from a standardized template, this creates significant repetitive manual work and increases the risk of inconsistent configuration across projects. Requested improvement: allow section-level role/assignee configuration to be set at the template or Library level, so it propagates automatically to new projects created from that template — consistent with how other template settings already work. I've seen many requests for Stamps, and I think many of them are good ideas, but I feel we need to take this to the next level for Stamps and Cover sheets. Instead of just having the built-in and upload stamps and cover sheets there should be a third option to use Library Stamps and Cover sheets. That way you get consistency and ease of access across all your projects if they are stored in the Hub Library. These items should be accessible anywhere you can do a markup, but I was thinking mostly about Submittals. Show More

I understand the potential difficulties with opening files locally that have been requested in another topic/idea But here is a potential remedy, if we can reverse the functionality that we currently have, that is from the Desktop Connector "view online" Could we have this option the other way around? Right clicking on a folder or file could open the location if you have that project synced on your computer via the Desktop connector?   If the project is not synced, then comes my next question as we are still waiting/hoping for a search bar in the desktop connector. Can we have a function in Forma Web where you are in a project and then just click "sync" like you have in Sharepoint where you sync the library(project). If it's already synced then it just skips or opens the folder in your files explorer.    Show More

Request to enable cross-sharing of Hub Admin > Library > Forms library > form templates, that is located in one Hub, into another Hub, within the same Data Center.  Currently have multiple form templates in assigned Hubs that are required in other Hubs; wanting to eliminate having to duplicate the same form template to use. We have started uploading materials to the Content Catalog and are facing some issues with the thumbnail images.  It seems like the thumbnail image loaded into Content Catalog is based on the Scene set in the Appearance tab rather than the sourve image file. These thumbnails are a little painful to work with as the refresh rate is very slow in Revit - it seems like if we apply a change and close the dialogue before the thumbnail image refreshes then a blank thumbnail gets loaded into Content Catalog.  Can the developers change the default thumbnail uploaded to Content Catalogue to show the Source image file (jpg etc) mapped into the asset?    Please see snips below. @ian_turner    We would like the ability to upload PDFs to the Cost Management document library. We have several company-wide standard documents that should not be edited by general users. These documents are frequently reviewed by the legal team and must remain unchanged unless Legal has been notified and approves any modifications. Allowing PDFs to be added to the document library would enable all team members creating subcontracts to easily include the latest approved versions. It would also serve as an efficient and controlled way to disseminate updated documents whenever they are revised by authorized individuals. Show More

It would be helpful to have more filtering options since we utilize a lot of forms. For example, I don't remember off the top of my head which forms require reviewers. Being able to filter by which forms have reviewers, I wouldn't have to click through them one by one or keep a separate tracker. Show More

@ian_turner  Can you create a link between contract templates in the cost tab of the project settings and Cost-> Subcontract Type. SO that when one subcontract type is shown then only certain templates are allowed to be used. Similar to the idea of custom attributes being linked to the subcontract type. This would help limit people using the wrong templates when generating. Show More

Shared Parameter Service allows tagging of labels for organization. Once a label is created, there is no way to delete it. If there is a spelling error, or an organizational change, you're stuck with all the old labels.   Autodesk Support that the only way to delete them is through Autodesk Platform Services and the API. Currently, Meeting Templates are too rigid—we can only add meeting topics, but we can’t add items within those topics. We need the ability to insert predefined items below each topic in a meeting template as built-in reminders/prompts for what content should be captured in the Items section during the meeting (and be able to manage/reorder them), so teams can standardize meeting expectations and stop relying on manual copy/paste or tribal knowledge.
