Meeting Minutes Status Dashboard Intent:  Improve visibility and management of meeting action items by providing a consolidated status dashboard across meeting series.   Idea:  Introduce a Meeting Minutes Status Summary Dashboard, similar to the existing Work Status Summary. The dashboard should automatically aggregate action items from meeting minutes and provide: Total number of open and closed action items Action items grouped by status (Open, In Progress, Closed, Overdue, etc.) Summary by assigned person/team Identification of overdue actions and upcoming due dates A second-level dashboard should provide a detailed summary for each meeting series, allowing users to drill down into individual meetings and associated action items while maintaining an overall portfolio view.   Benefit This would significantly improve oversight, accountability, and reporting of meeting outcomes. Project teams and managers could quickly identify outstanding actions, workload distribution, and overdue items without manually reviewing multiple meeting records. Main request: Please add a bell icon with a number badge in the top right corner of Forma, showing how many notifications or action items are waiting — like Facebook bell notification icon, like the bell (top right corner) we have here right now in autodesk forum.  The problem: Right now, the only way to know if something needs our attention (an issue assigned to us, an RFI, a review) is to check email or check through each module/tab. With so many emails coming in daily, notification emails get buried and are easy to miss or lose track of. What we're asking for: A bell icon at the top right of the screen A small number badge on it showing unread/pending items count Clicking it opens a quick list of recent notifications Why it helps: No more digging through email to check for updates One glance tells you if anything needs action It's a pattern everyone already knows from other apps, so no learning curve This would make it much faster for project teams to stay on top of daily action items without leaving Forma or checking a separate inbox. Currently, there are only two role levels: Project Admin and Project Member. This creates a gap in permissions management. A PA must either grant full administrative rights or restrict users to basic member access, which can lead to over‑permissioning or inefficiency.   Proposed Solution Introduce a new intermediate role between PA and Project Member. This role would include limited PA functions, such as: Adding members Assigning locations Managing basic project settings Alternatively, allow a PA to temporarily assign PA rights to another member for a defined period. When a new custom attribute is added to a folder that already contains files, there are currently two limitations: No bulk update/edit capability for the newly added custom attribute across existing files. Unable to make the attribute mandatory, even after all existing files have been updated and contain a value for that attribute. I understand the logic behind preventing a custom attribute from being made mandatory when there are gaps in existing data. However, once all files within the folder have been populated with values for the new attribute, administrators should be able to convert that attribute to a required field. Proposed Enhancement  Allow bulk editing or bulk population of newly added custom attributes across existing files in a folder. Enable an attribute to be changed to Required once the system validates that all existing files have a value populated for that attribute. Provide a validation message showing any files that still need values before the requirement can be enabled. Show More

Add a simple favorites feature to quickly access relevant projects. Problem 200+ projects today, >500 soon. I actively work on ~10; finding them is slow and inefficient. Solution Star ⭐ icon on each project to mark/unmark as favorite. “Favorites only” filter on My Home and in all project lists. The problem When onboarding a new team member, a consultant, or a company-wide role (e.g. BIM Manager, HSE Officer), administrators currently have to open each project individually and add the user one by one. In organisations managing dozens or hundreds of projects, this is extremely time-consuming and error-prone. There is no native bulk assignment feature in Autodesk Forma today, which forces teams to rely on third-party tools or custom API scripts just to handle routine access management. The request We would like two complementary bulk-assignment workflows in the Members / Permissions area of Forma: 1 — Add one user to multiple projects Select a single user, then choose a scope: all projects in the hub, or a filtered subset (e.g. by project name, type, status, or date range). Assign a role and apply in one action. 2 — Add one project to multiple users Select a single project, then target a filtered set of users — for example, all members of a specific company or all users holding a particular role — and grant access in one step. Why this matters This is a routine administrative task in any large organisation. Without it, admins are effectively locked out of efficient access management unless they write and maintain their own API integrations. Adding bulk assignment natively would reduce human error, save significant admin time, and bring Forma in line with what is already possible in other Autodesk platform products. It would also lower the barrier to keeping access controls accurate and up to date across the portfolio. Current workaround We currently use third-party tools and direct API calls to replicate this functionality — an approach that requires technical overhead and ongoing maintenance, and is not accessible to most project administrators. Currently, notifications are mainly sent by email, which can lead to overload or them being missed. It would be much more convenient to have all notifications centralized in a dedicated “Notifications” tab within the platform, similar to how notifications work on social media. This would improve user awareness and efficiency by keeping all relevant alerts in one accessible location. Show More

In the Home section of Autodesk Build, project activities from the last few days are visible. The problem is that these activities are also visible to users who don't have access to the tasks listed there. It would be helpful if the activity display were limited to the information visible to the user, or if administrators could configure it, for example, by allowing it to be hidden. Show More

Our company would like a way to add custom fields to the project level data (meta data). This would support project assignments and tracking through various stages. Our business as a manufacturing facility, we manage hundreds of projects at any given time. We assign key project roles that are not easily identifiable with project membership or membership roles.  Something similar to the custom fields capability in the RFI or Submittal templates with the same capability. It would be appreciated if Account Administrator can administrate the "Default access" setting of every user / Project Admin as to better manage the consumption engaged at user connection. It will be to control the first module to arrive on. It could also be fine to bring users on the Insight page level to deliver general information to everyone as Issue count. It could also be investigate to deliver those rights to Project Admins for their better alignment in the project default page. On login you land on the project picker and have to type the project name every session. There's no native way to pin a project, the only workaround is bookmarking the URL in your browser, which is clunky and doesn't sync. At the University of Florida, we have a need to track custom attribute data at the project level. This data would be helpful for inclusion on project dashboards and account-level dashboards.   I kindly suggest that Autodesk allow users to create custom attributes that can be managed by project administrators through the Project Settings page and via the API. It would be especially helpful if these custom attributes could be created on the project templates.   Show More

Allow users to set default sorting for projects. For example, you can set the project list to sort by project number but everytime you log back in it resets to default. Allow users to lock preferred sorting criteria. Show More
