It would be very useful if it would be possible to create a link to a specific model coordination view so that you can share the link and users will get directly to that view. At the moment it is not possible. It is now only possible to share a link to the page of the view list but not the specific view... I think it will be quite easy to implement. Problem statement: When using Revit Decals in source models, they can be displayed correctly in the "FORMA Model Coordination Viewer", when the model is published as NWC. However, when those models are later federated in NWF and exported or shared as NWD, the decals/logos are no longer visible in the  "FORMA Model Coordination Viewer". Current issue / challenge: This creates a limitation in federated model workflows, especially when visual identity, signage, labels, or simple graphic references are required in the viewer. It causes inconsistency between the source model display and the federated model display in the "FORMA Model Coordination Viewer". Current workaround: We currently have to model the logos or graphics manually so they remain visible after federation. This is manageable only when the image is very simple. For complex logos or graphics, this workaround becomes impractical because of the time required. Desired outcome: Allow Decals / logos to remain visible in federated Navisworks workflows in the "FORMA Model Coordination Viewer", including when models are combined in NWF and published/viewed as NWD. The expected behavior would be consistent decal visualization between individual source model publishing and federated model publishing. I would like there to be an option to keep the folder structure intact while sharing models and drawings using design collaboration. For example if my project is composed of many areas and each team is working with a subfolder for each areas it would be much better to preserve that structure instead of the actual system where all models of a single team get put in a single folder all together. As an example if I have a working structure such as  Team 1/ Area1/ Models/ Drawings/ Area2/ Models/ Drawings/ Area3/... I would like to see this structure in both the shared folder and in the consumed folder for each team. I also think that giving this option would help in other cases where there is a need to keep a logical structure to the data. Show More

First credits to this post as it's similar, but not the solution we need: Have Workshared Models saved on ACC template files    I'm envisioning a workflow where the latest and greatest files live inside the ACC Template folder/s as a workshared model/models. We are a complete in-house design firm, so we typically have up to over 9 different models linked across. This workflow would drastically reduce model spin up time, recreating cloud models and relinking the models, as well allow us to create a more standardized project setup utilizing ACC and the other features it offers.    Even if worksharing capabilities are preserved, it is equally critical that model linking relationships are retained during template deployment. In multi-model project environments, each additional linked model exponentially increases setup time when links must be recreated manually. For firms managing multiple discipline models, this results in significant cumulative time loss, increased risk of coordination errors, and inconsistent project startup quality. Show More

ACC Template with Workshared Revit models - Autodesk Community Doubling down on the previous post above. With the ability to create projects from a true templatized ACC setup, the next most useful update would be to either bring back being able to Publish Coordinates to cloud models. OR  Have the ability to see all models Internal, Project, and Survey Base Points and be able to adjust them globally within ACC (maybe from within Insight/Design?) When Coordinating (or if a project location moves) there is no simple way to locate, adjust, the models when you have 9+ links. Or if everything is setup correct and someone moves a Base point and it doesn't get immediately caught can have real consequences.   OR  Having both options, using Revit to publish coordinates from 1 model with all links (and those links don't need the main coordinating model loaded in their model). We would like to propose an enhancement to the Selection Tree in Navisworks by adding flexible sorting functionality. Currently, the Selection Tree order is fixed, which makes it difficult to work efficiently in large and complex models. Our request is to allow users to sort items in the Selection Tree based on different criteria, such as: Alphabetical order (A–Z / Z–A) Date-related metadata (e.g. creation date, last modified date) Other available object or property data (where applicable) Being able to quickly reorganize the Selection Tree based on these criteria would significantly improve usability, navigation, and productivity—especially for coordination, review, and model checking workflows that involve frequent selection and isolation of objects. This functionality would align well with how users already filter and sort data in other Navisworks tools and would be a valuable usability improvement for daily practice. Show More

At the moment every user has to select the accurancy settings for the measurements every time again when open the coordination view. In infrastructure projects we work with Millimeter accurancy. The setting should be stored. Ohterwise the user has to do many clicks before the information is usefull.  Show More

It would be nice to sort different coordination spaces for the users in the table and for selection. At the moment the coordination spaces are sorted only by creation date. That is in big projects difficult to handle because they need up to 10 spaces with a minimum logic. (Area, Topic,...) Show More

At the moment it would be very helpful to show point clouds in the model coordination view together with models and other information's. That would save a lot of time to create models from existing condition. It would enable the project team to discuss fast in 3D in meetings to find solutions. A mesh is not a solution because of details and the accuracy. See example pictures of other CDE types for inspiration. Show More

Aparently when linking the coordination model from ACC in Navisworks, the result geometry elements lack critial information like the Category (as a paremeter for rule creation, we can see it in the file tree) and, much more important, it lack the revit ID number (or even the revit GUID - the GUID it has it's one dreated for Navisworks). The problem with this, is that when issues are created, they are created in that NWD file and shared with everyone in ACC, we cannot easily find where that issue is because there is no ID number we can use to find the elements in our working files.   Autodesk is sugesting the following "dynamo script" as a workaround - but that is not a viable long term workflow. Revit Item GUID not matching with Navisworks GUID   We really need this to fixed ASAP, please. I trust it can be simple. Currently, Model Coordination workflows are not completely supported on the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) mobile app. As a result, actions such as adding or assigning users to tasks within meetings are only available through the web/browser interface. Hence, the recommended workaround is to use the web version of ACC (via desktop or mobile browser) when you need to assign or manage task participants. Problem Model Coordination currently requires a published 3D view in a Revit model in order for the model to be visible and usable. If no 3D view has been published to ACC, the model is ignored by Model Coordination, even though the same model can still be opened successfully in Assemble.   Suggested improvement Allow Model Coordination to: Automatically generate or extract a usable 3D view (similar to Assemble), or Fall back to a default view when no published 3D view exists @allan.trotter  Show More

There are a times I create a report of open issues and like to supplement the report with a floor plan to show the locations. Without the numbers visible on all the pins, it's hard to discern where they are. The number shows up when you select one issue but would be more helpful to see all the numbers when looking at an entire floor plate.
