Hello Autodesk Team, I am a user of the Model Coordination feature in Autodesk Docs / BIM 360, and I would like to suggest an improvement to address a current workflow pain point regarding clash tracking. Current Issue (Background) Currently, in the Model Coordination module, when a clash (interference) is identified and an "Issue" is created from it, the affected objects are immediately excluded from the clash matrix and the total clash count. However, creating an issue is just the start of the coordination process. At this stage, no actual review, confirmation, or resolution has taken place. Removing these clashes prematurely from the high-level matrix disrupts the workflow, as it falsely indicates that the overall number of conflicts has decreased. Proposed Solution I would like to request a customization option or filter that allows users to optimize how the clash matrix behaves. Specifically: Toggle/Filter Options: Provide an option to choose whether clashes with active/open issues should be excluded from or retained in the total clash count. Distinct Marking/Status: Instead of removing them entirely, display them with a distinct status or visual marker (e.g., "Clash with Open Issue") so they remain visible in the matrix until the issue is officially closed or resolved. Expected Benefits This enhancement will provide BIM managers and project teams with a much more accurate, high-level overview of the actual project status, preventing unresolved conflicts from slipping through the cracks. Thank you for considering this feature request to optimize our BIM coordination workflows!
