The Problem: On multi-consultant projects, every project hub has to independently set up a bridge to every other hub. On a 10-consultant project, that can mean up to 90 individual bridge configurations across all parties (or 45 depending on how you count it). This is a lot of unnecessary admin, and can be simplified.   The Proposed Feature: When setting up a bridge to another project, it would be great if users could optionally view that project's existing bridge connections (with that bridged project's permission) and send bridge requests to those parties in bulk, rather than having to set-up and configure each one separately.   Key design principle: I understand privacy might be a concern for some firms, so this should be opt-in. A project hub should be able to control whether its bridge connections are visible to others. I don't expect this to be an issue for most firms but I know the privacy aspect of it can be quite a big deal-breaker for some who don't want other firms automatically seeing their bridged connections.   The benefit: Less repetitive admin at project start-up, lower risk of consultants being missed, and a setup process that better reflects how real project networks work. We would like to use more the Insight builder functionality in Autodesk Forma. What is hindering us to do so, is that currently we don't have the possibilty to combine different datasets inside one visual. For issue management we do have defined custom attributes. These custom attributes are stored in a dataset called "issues-with-custom-attributes(v1)". The standard fields defined by Autodesk are stored in a dataset calle "issues(v1)". It is not possible to create, e.g. a visual called "table" where both datasets could be used. You can one visual "table" where the dataset "issues(V1)" is used and another visual "tabel" where the dataset "issues-with-custom-attributes(v1)" is used. Show More

There is a client request that appears both practical and valuable. Currently, when exporting documents with published markups and issues, the issue pin labels do not include any metadata. The client suggests introducing an option to display the Issue ID within the pin label, potentially replacing the current Issue Type, to improve traceability and clarity. Additionally, the client has requested the ability to filter issues based on their placement (e.g., sheet, view, or location). This would help users better manage and review issues, especially in larger or more complex documents. Show More

Summary: I would like the ability to delete or hide the default issue categories and types in Autodesk Forma (formerly ACC). Current Behavior: In Project → Issues → Settings → Issue Categories and Types, there are several default categories (e.g., "Commissioning") that are pre-set and locked with a lock icon. These categories cannot be deleted or hidden. Problem: Our projects do not use all of the default categories, and having unnecessary categories in the list causes confusion for team members. It makes it harder to find and select the correct category when creating issues, which impacts workflow efficiency. Desired Behavior: Please provide one or both of the following options: Delete default issue categories that are not needed for a project Hide default issue categories so they do not appear in the selection list This would allow project administrators to customize the issue categories to fit their specific project needs and keep the interface clean and organized. One improvement that would make Forma administration much more efficient would be the ability to mass update user roles and access levels across projects and teams. For organizations managing large teams, onboarding, offboarding, or role changes can become very time-consuming when permissions must be updated one user at a time.   It would be extremely helpful to have: • Bulk edit tools for user roles and permissions • Multi-select user management • Ability to apply access changes across multiple projects at once • Admin audit logs showing permission changes   As Forma adoption grows within larger firms, streamlined user administration becomes increasingly important for IT teams and BIM managers. This would save significant time and reduce the risk of inconsistent permissions across projects. Making an existing user an admin adds us to projects moving forward, but there HAS to be a way to add someone as an admin to ALL projects easier than one at a time. In the case of someone jumping in and helping while someone is out on FMLA, one by one updating is really cumbersome. There should be an easier way with all the technology we have. Show More

  Request enhanced conditional logic functionality within Autodesk contract templates that would allow images, exhibits, or entire sections to dynamically display or remain hidden based on selected dropdown values within the contract properties/custom attributes. Current Challenge At this time, if different contract scenarios require different exhibits, bond forms, insurance attachments, or images, the only practical workaround is to create and maintain multiple separate contract templates. Requested Enhancement Allow contract templates to conditionally show or suppress: Images Exhibits Attachments/placeholders Sections/tables Entire clauses or paragraphs based on: Dropdown selections Yes/No responses Custom attribute values Contract type selections Example Use Case A contract contains a custom dropdown field: "COI or Bond Statement” Options: Required Not Required Desired behavior: If “Required” is selected → Automatically include bond exhibit pages/images. If “Not Required” is selected → Automatically suppress those pages/images. This functionality would eliminate the need for separate contract templates solely to manage optional exhibits. Hello Autodesk Team, I am a user of the Model Coordination feature in Autodesk Docs / BIM 360, and I would like to suggest an improvement to address a current workflow pain point regarding clash tracking. Current Issue (Background) Currently, in the Model Coordination module, when a clash (interference) is identified and an "Issue" is created from it, the affected objects are immediately excluded from the clash matrix and the total clash count. However, creating an issue is just the start of the coordination process. At this stage, no actual review, confirmation, or resolution has taken place. Removing these clashes prematurely from the high-level matrix disrupts the workflow, as it falsely indicates that the overall number of conflicts has decreased. Proposed Solution I would like to request a customization option or filter that allows users to optimize how the clash matrix behaves. Specifically: Toggle/Filter Options: Provide an option to choose whether clashes with active/open issues should be excluded from or retained in the total clash count. Distinct Marking/Status: Instead of removing them entirely, display them with a distinct status or visual marker (e.g., "Clash with Open Issue") so they remain visible in the matrix until the issue is officially closed or resolved. Expected Benefits This enhancement will provide BIM managers and project teams with a much more accurate, high-level overview of the actual project status, preventing unresolved conflicts from slipping through the cracks. Our company pride ourself on taking care of the client during the warranty period just as well as during construction.  We have recently started tracking our warranty through a product called Maintain X, the cool part of this product is that each location (project) has a unique QR code that the client scans, they fill out the request, can upload pictures and documents for us to either accept and assign to the subcontractor, they can comment on work completed and upload pictures OR we can deny it and turn it into a chargeable work order. It would be AWESOME to track warranty for our clients like the punch list.  The punch list gives so much more opportunity to identify exactly where the item is and this is missing from our current software. The real feature is the client able to quickly scan a QR code to start the warranty request and tracking! Show More

Requesting help on finding ways to track how long an Issue has been in each status (eg Pending, In review). This is for KPIs we want to track as each status represents different discipline's time taken to close out an issue. I want to track time or days between Issue open - Pending, Issue pending - review and the overall time from Issue creation - close. I had a question regarding the photos in Autodesk. We’ve noticed that photos taken within tasks, daily reports, and similar items aren’t populating in the main jobsite photos section. Currently, the only way to view them is by opening each individual report. Is there a way to have those photos populate in both locations? This would allow upper management to quickly review site progress without having to dig through multiple reports. It would be nice to be able to "archive" a project and have it in a separate list of say completed projects but still be able to view everything but have it set to read only. This would keep from having to have admins restore projects to allow team members to review a past project or bridge information from that old project to a new project if we are doing a project for the same customer and want to review that last project. This would also allow us to clean up the current Active projects list to be a lot smaller and less cumbersome on finding project. Currently we have 142 projects but only 82 are active but we don't want to archive them because users can't view the information in the project.  This would also help when we create our power bi dashboards from the data connector we can limit those projects from showing up since those would be "Completed" projects versus just Archived.
