Background
To allow users to access related documents managed in SharePoint and Teams directly from Forma, the same files currently need to be uploaded and maintained in Forma as well.
This results in duplicate document management and additional maintenance effort.
Request
I would like the Files feature to support URL link shortcuts (hyperlinks) that can be stored within folders in the same way as regular files.
This would allow users to register links to documents stored in SharePoint or Teams and access those resources directly from Forma.
Expected Benefits
- Eliminate duplicate document management
- Improve integration with SharePoint and Teams
- Enhance accessibility to related project documents
- Ensure users always access the latest version of documents
