There is no Low Voltage trade category separate from Electrical. GCs are forced to tag low voltage scope (structured cabling, AV, security, access control) under "Electrical," so subs receive high voltage electrical invites with no way to tell if low voltage is included without opening every attachment. Requesting a distinct "Low Voltage" work performed keyword under Division 16, separate from Electrical. Supporting example: PC-111-4 Fleet Building Renovation (Lunacon Construction Group). Scope text lists Electrical, Lightning Protection, Solar Panels, Low Voltage, and Fire Alarm as separate items, but only one "Electrical" trade invite was created — no separate Low Voltage invite. Confirmed by Autodesk Support (chat, Andres R, today): "Currently there is no specific high and low voltage service types."

We need the option to use the CSI 48/50 Division - or - 16 Division format or set up both. One of the primary benefits of BC Pro is to cast the widest net to find qualified contractors, this will help. We also need the option to add custom keywords to our profile for services and scopes performed that fall outside the standard keywords. If it is easier the non-standard keyword search could serve as a secondary / optional search. Companies require more flexibility when it comes to defining services.

I would like to visualize more Qual information in a contractor's building connected account "at a glance" that will ease the award process. In general, it would be helpful to be able to customize/add areas to the view. Specifically, I would like to visualize the if an MSA has been uploaded from the BC side. Additionally, and a separate issue is the fact that MSA often have riders which are additional documents and I would like to be able to upload more than one document to the MSA area in TT.

Right now the only way to view a subcontractor bid is to download it and open it offline. This seems like a strange thing to be missing from an online bidding platform. Can you have bids open in a separate PDF reader window please? That way we can look at the bids without having to download and save all of them, which was supposed to be one of the benefits of Building Connected.

In BuildingConnected Bid Leveling it would be great if the Quantities had Subtotals for each section and totals for the entire Package for like Quantity X Unit Cost types. The Example I am thinking of is Hours X Cost/Hour where knowing the subtotal and total hours would be very helpful for bid analysis.

If a bid package line item is made of up of multiple entries in the estimate there is no way to enter a value for each cost in the bid leveling tab. This forces user to verify estimate completeness on a different platform. To perform a true bid leveling effort each line item tagged into a bid package should be pulled into the bid leveling tab with an option to make "included" if bidder has carried costs, but did not break out for GC.

Please have a bid opening log, which states which person opened it and when to show clearly how a sealed bid was opened. This will help with compliance on sealed bids.

Create a feature where on the BuildingConnected Active Projects you can also sort the view by Lead. Currently it only allows a sort by Bids Due / Number / Name / Client / Due to Client / Value. However, not by lead. It would also be helpful to add a section for viewed/invited. This was you can easily sort through any projects you have not accessed.

In BuildingConnected's "Bid Leveling" you can toggle most times on or off to include them in the leveled price or not. But, you cannot toggle items in the "Other Costs" section. Ideally you could toggle "Other Costs" items also.

Request that another option be added to the drop down list on the Bid Leveling tab. Ability to mark the bid as 'Not Complete' to remove it from the Bid Leveling spreadsheet. Clients are asking for validation on why a plugged out trade partner with 50%+ adjustments is not considered.

Hello, We are a contractor that specializes in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD). With using Building Connected, the concept is great but is a huge waste of time for our industry, and a hassle for the contractors that ask us to bid with them because our industry is not an option listed and it takes up a lot of time that gets wasted. Is there a way we can get this industry added so when a job does come through, there is either a certainty, or a much high probability that there actually is HDD work on the project that is sent? Again, the concept of the site is great however it is not there yet for HDD work.

Checking to see if we can change a setting to when a bid comes into BuildingConnected, it can come to our email as an attachment? Right now, it gets emailed with a link in the body of the email to download the bid.

I'm interested in having a feature that acknowledges the receipt of a trade contractor proposal. I sought a lot of feedback and many trades like BC while others prefer a more personal touch. I would like to at least have a quick button that lets me politely respond and thank them for their bid and acknowledge receipt of their proposal. Messages are slow and arduous and cutting and pasting the senders email is also a several step process. I would like to be able to respond with a single button and a pre-formatted response from the bid leveling section.

Hello, In my industry, bid forms can be quite large and include multiple unit rates and different quantities. As it is, the module of bid form in buildingconnected does not allow to replicate a long excel bid form table(copy from excel to buildingconnected) unless we add line items, quantities and units one by one. Can you please create a functionality to replicate long excel bid forms into the BuildingConnected bid form section? Thanks in advance.

We can only export a bidders list that's organized by division and then alphabetized by company name. It would be nice if we could export a bidders list that is formatted strictly by company name having a separate column that lists the division name/number.

Hello, The new authenticator process needs to be changed in terms of bidding. If you have any experience with HARD bids, they have a very specific deadline. Typical rule of thumb is 2:00pm which means if I submit by 2:01 my bid is deemed nonresponsive and thrown in the trash. In my experience, I can expect to receive a straggler by 1:55pm. My heartburn with the new process has to do with timing. I now need to enter my login, wait for an email, enter a code, then scan a QR code. On bid day this is not simple or fast. I cannot risk missing those last quotes. Is there a way to bypass this process for Building Connected? I can ask for bids by 12:00pm, however, if a subcontractor sees the spec that states 2:00pm, they wait. Utilizing your forum for bid leveling and printing bids has been extremely user friendly. Now it's getting too complex. Can we figure out a way to mitigate this issue?
