[Target] Forma Viewer and Photo Management Function   [Current Challenge] Currently, Forma allows users to place camera icons on PDF drawings and associate site photos with those locations for management purposes. However, for IFC models, it is not possible to directly associate and manage photos at specific locations within the 3D model. As BIM adoption continues to grow, IFC models are increasingly becoming the primary source for reviewing project information rather than traditional drawings. However, photos must still be managed separately, making it time-consuming to identify photo locations and search historical records.   [Objective] Enable direct association and management of site photos on IFC models to improve the usability of construction records, inspection records, and maintenance records. Hello Autodesk Team,   I would like to suggest an enhancement to the Autodesk Forma Data Management Review Workflow.   Current Situation In the current workflow, reviewers can create markups throughout their review session. However, these markups remain as Draft until the reviewer manually clicks Publish Markups. Many users assume that clicking Complete Review, Approve, or Approve with Comments automatically publishes all markups. Unfortunately, this is not the case. As a result, reviewers may complete their review believing they have submitted all comments, while the document originator and other reviewers cannot see any of the unpublished markups.   This has caused confusion and rework on our EPC projects, especially when multiple disciplines are involved in document reviews.   This issue occurs frequently because reviewers naturally expect that completing a review also submits all associated comments.   Suggested Improvements I would appreciate one or both of the following idea:   Option 1 Automatically publish all draft markups when the reviewer clicks "Complete Review". This would ensure that all review comments are visible once the review is officially submitted.   Option 2 If automatic publishing is not preferred for all users, display a warning before completing the review. For example: You have unpublished markups. These markups will not be visible to the document originator or other reviewers. Would you like to publish them before completing your review? [Publish & Complete] [Complete Without Publishing] [Cancel]   This approach preserves user control while preventing accidental omissions. This makes photo management time-consuming and inefficient.   [Objective] To significantly reduce the workload involved in site documentation by integrating Forma Build with cameras and automating photo registration and association with drawings.   [Request] We would like to request a feature that integrates Forma Build with cameras and automatically registers and associates captured photos with camera icons placed on drawings.   [Proposed Workflow] 1 - Place a camera icon on a drawing (PDF, etc.) displayed in the viewer. 2 - Launch the camera directly from the camera icon and take a photo. 3 - Automatically register and associate the captured photo with the location of the camera icon. [Notes] We envision integration with Ricoh's THETA 360-degree cameras. In our use case, we currently do not utilize the main contract, but do use OCO for budget changes to ensure that all changes are tracked and approved. Currently the compliance requirement for OCO has a requirement for a main contract. We can choose select all which allows us to save the requirement, but when we create an OCO without a Main Contract the compliance requirement is not applied. In the project process dialog, when Main Contract is disabled, I think that would be great to automatically set those OCO compliance requirements just simply to all OCOs, or at least give us the option. When you're reviewing a long list of documents in a review, if you select the drop-down Status menu to choose between "Approved", "Rejected", and "Approved with Comments" and then later realize you changed the status of the wrong document, it's not possible to return it to "No Selection" status. This is more likely if multiple documents start with the same names and differ in only their endings, which may not be visible in the limited room in the Title column. Please just add a 4th option to return the Status to "Unselected". Show More

Currently, users are able to add reference files to RFIs which have been officially closed, this shouldn't be the case. Once RFIs are closed, no one should be able to make changes to it unless a RFI is formally re-opened under a new revision.    What I'm experiencing at the moment is stakeholders adding File references to RFIs after these get officially closed and distributed.   From the research I've done, I've already limited user permissions as much as I can without impacting their ability to answer RFIs, however I can't find a way to make RFIs essentially "Frozen" if they are officially closed. It doesn't make sense to allow people to continue to make changes to a request which has been closed.   Show More

以下は個別機能の単発要望というより、建物管理・維持管理業務において、Issueを現地調査・見積・稟議・発注・修繕履歴へつなげるための一連の改善案です。項目が多いため、必要に応じてAutodesk側で分割して検討いただければ幸いです。   建物管理・維持管理でIssueを業務データの起点として活用するための改善要望 Forma / ACC Issues を建物管理・維持管理業務で活用する中で、Issueは単なる指摘メモではなく、現地調査、見積依頼、稟議、発注、修繕、履歴管理へつながる業務データの起点になると感じています。 今回、外部iPaaS（Make）を用いて、Issue情報を起点に、現地調査依頼、見積依頼、見積書アップロード、稟議書ドラフト作成、PDF生成、チャット通知、台帳更新までをつなぐプロトタイプを作成しました。 その検証を通じて、Forma / ACC Issues 側に以下のような改善があると、建物管理・維持管理領域での活用可能性が大きく広がると感じました。 以下は個別機能の単発要望というより、建物管理・維持管理業務において、Issueを後続業務へつなげるための一連の改善案です。 項目が多いため、必要に応じてAutodesk側で分割して検討いただければ幸いです。 1. Revit / BIMの部屋情報と連携した部屋一覧・部屋ビュー移動 RevitのRoom / Space情報と連携し、Forma / ACC上で部屋一覧をサイドバー表示できると便利です。 部屋を選択すると、その部屋のビューへ自動移動し、可能であれば一人称視点が自動でオンになると、建物管理者が対象区画を探しやすくなります。 現在は部屋ごとのビューを個別に作成する必要があり、物件数や部屋数が増えると運用負荷が高くなります。 2. 部屋ビューURL / QR / NFC連携 各部屋・区画ごとに直接アクセスできるURLを作成できると、現地運用で非常に有用です。 例えば、各部屋や設備付近にNFCタグやQRコードを設置し、読み取るとForma / ACCが開き、対象の階数・区画番号・部屋情報が入力された状態でIssue登録を開始できると理想的です。 これにより、現場担当者は場所情報を手入力せず、正確な位置情報を持ったIssueを登録できます。 3. 3Dビュー上で選択したオブジェクトから機器カテゴリを取得 3Dビュー上でIssueを作成した際に、選択・クリックしたオブジェクトのカテゴリや属性情報をIssueに引き継げると便利です。 例えば、空調機を選択してIssueを作成した場合、機器カテゴリが「空調機」として自動入力され、その後の不具合カテゴリも「異音」「センサー」「ファン」「漏水」などに絞り込まれると、入力負担が減り、データ品質も上がります。 4. 機器カテゴリ・不具合カテゴリに応じたAI入力補助 機器カテゴリと不具合カテゴリが取得できれば、過去の不具合履歴や類似事例をもとに、症状説明や対応方針の下書きをAIが作成できる可能性があります。 現場担当者はゼロから長文を入力するのではなく、AIが作成した説明文を確認・補足するだけで済むため、報告負担を減らしながら一定の粒度を確保できます。 5. メーカー・型番・エラーコードとの連携 特に設備機器では、メーカー・型番・エラーコードによって原因や対応方法がある程度絞れるケースがあります。 Issueに機器情報、メーカー、型番、エラーコードを紐づけられると、メーカー側・建物管理側の双方で迅速な対応や適切な応急処置につなげやすくなります。 また、優先度判定や運用マニュアルの提示にも活用できると考えています。 6. 過去の対応履歴・運用マニュアルとの連携 Issue登録時に、類似する過去の不具合や対応履歴、関連する運用マニュアルが自動で提示されると便利です。 管理者が毎回過去案件を探す必要がなくなり、判断の属人化を減らせます。 7. 添付写真へのマークアップ機能 現地で撮影した写真に対して、直接マークアップできる機能がほしいです。 写真だけでは、室外機のどの位置に亀裂があるのか、どの金物を交換する必要があるのか、窓のどこから漏水しているのかが伝わりにくい場合があります。 写真上に「ここ」と矢印や囲みを付けられるだけで、現場・管理者・協力会社・バックオフィス間の認識齟齬を大きく減らせます。 その後の不具合報告書や見積依頼にも有効だと考えます。 8. Issueスナップショット上のピン色・状態表示の改善 Issueサムネイルや2Dスナップショット上のピンの色が見にくい場合があります。 例えば、最初のドラフト状態では黒、必須項目入力後の未完了状態では黄色、対応中は青、完了は緑など、Issueステータスと連動してピン色が変わると、一覧性が高まります。 特にドラフトIssueと正式対応中Issueを見分けられると、運用しやすくなります。 9. Issueテンプレートのプロジェクト横断管理 当社では、Forma / ACCのプロジェクトを物件ごとに分けて運用しています。 この場合、各プロジェクトに同じ不具合対応テンプレートやカスタムフィールドを設定する必要があります。 運用を進める中でカスタムフィールドを追加・変更することがあるため、テンプレートを読み込み、複数プロジェクトへ最新版を反映できる仕組みがあると非常に便利です。 プロジェクトごとに「このフィールドはあるが、別のプロジェクトにはない」という状態を防ぎたいです。 10. カスタムフィールドの辞書API・選択肢API 外部iPaaSや業務システムと連携する際、カスタムフィールドの一覧、型、選択肢、選択肢IDをAPIで取得できると便利です。 特に選択式フィールドでは、表示名と内部IDの対応が必要になるため、辞書APIがあると連携しやすくなります。 11. APIでのカスタムフィールド更新 外部システムで整理した情報をIssue側へ戻せるように、標準項目だけでなく、カスタムフィールドもAPIで安定して更新できると便利です。 選択式フィールドについては、表示名またはIDで更新でき、必須項目不足時には具体的なエラー内容が返ると運用しやすいです。 12. Issue作成・更新時のWebhook Issueが作成・更新されたタイミングで、外部iPaaSへWebhook通知できる機能があると非常に有用です。 例えば、以下のイベントをトリガーにできると便利です。 ・Issueが作成された ・Issueのステータスが変わった ・カスタムフィールドが更新された ・添付ファイルが追加された ・コメントが追加された ・担当者が変わった これにより、現地調査依頼、見積依頼、稟議書作成、台帳更新、チャット通知などへ展開しやすくなります。 13. Issue URLのAPIレスポンス出力 外部通知やチャット通知から、該当Issueに直接戻れるURLをAPIレスポンスで取得できると便利です。 現在、外部連携時にユーザーがクリックして該当Issueへ戻るURLを安定して作成することが重要です。 Makeなどの外部連携では、Issue IDだけでなく、Issueの画面URLが取得できると実務上とても助かります。 14. Snapshot URL / viewpoint / camera情報のAPI出力 Issueに紐づくスナップショット、viewpoint、camera情報をAPIで取得できると、外部レポートやチャット通知、PDF作成に活用しやすくなります。 建物管理業務では、どこで何が起きているかを関係者に素早く伝える必要があるため、Issueの視点情報を外部でも扱えると有用です。 15. 添付ファイル一覧・URL・種別のAPI取得 Issueに添付された写真、PDF、図面、その他資料をAPIで一覧取得できると便利です。 あわせて、撮影日時、アップロード者、ファイルURL、サムネイルURL、ファイル種別などが取得できると、後続の報告書作成やPDF結合、見積依頼に活用できます。 16. Issue詳細画面から後続アクションを起動するカスタムボタン Issue詳細画面から、外部フォームやiPaaSへIssue情報を引き継いで起動できるカスタムアクションボタンがあると便利です。 例えば以下のようなボタンです。 ・現地調査を依頼 ・見積を依頼 ・稟議を作成 ・関係者に通知 ・PDF報告書を作成 ・完了報告を作成 ボタン押下時に、Issue IDや建物名、場所、カテゴリ、添付情報などを外部URLやWebhookに渡せると、後続業務につなぎやすくなります。 17. 音声・自然文入力からIssue項目を自動入力 音声入力や自然文入力から、AIがIssueの各フィールドを自動入力・自動提案できる機能があると非常に便利です。 例えば、現場担当者が音声で、 「第6ビル6階の室外機から異音が出ています。ファン周辺から断続的な音がしており、至急確認が必要です。」 と入力すると、AIが以下のように項目化してくれるイメージです。 ・建物名：第6ビル ・階：6階 ・場所：室外機周辺 ・件名：室外機異音 ・不具合内容：ファン周辺から断続的な異音 ・機器カテゴリ：空調機 ・不具合カテゴリ：異音 ・優先度：高 ・次アクション：現地調査依頼 通常の音声入力では説明欄に文章が入るだけですが、建物管理業務では、説明文だけでなく、後続業務に使える各フィールドへ分解されることが重要です。   特に優先度が高いと考えているものは以下です。 1. 音声・自然文入力からIssue項目を自動入力 2. Background Autodesk Build Correspondence currently has a 20 MB total attachment limit (25 MB maximum email size) for email replies. When an external participant (non-project member) replies to a Correspondence email with attachments exceeding this limit, the reply is not processed or recorded in the Correspondence thread. Current Behaviour Outlook shows the email as sent successfully. No warning or delivery failure notification is sent to the sender. The project team has no indication that the reply was not received. Important project information can therefore be missed without anyone knowing. Why this is a problem In construction projects, clients, consultants and subcontractors frequently reply with multiple drawings, shop drawings, specifications or revised documents in a single email. These attachments can easily exceed 20 MB, especially when they contain PDF drawing sets. Since neither party is aware that the reply has failed, this can lead to: Missed RFI responses Delayed design approvals Missing project documentation Unnecessary follow-up and confusion Potential project delays   Any of the following would greatly improve the user experience: - Generate a delivery failure notification when a reply exceeds the supported attachment size. - Display a warning in the Correspondence notification email advising users of the maximum supported attachment size before they reply. - Automatically reject oversized replies with a clear email explaining why the message was not accepted. - Support larger attachment sizes Show More

Regarding ProEst, some companies calculate some indirect cost items as a percentage of the Grand Total Cost (not a subtotal). It does not appear that ProEst has this capability. Please consider adding the functionality described below:   For example, Insurance is part of the General Conditions and is estimated as a percentage of the Total Estimate. This creates a circular dependency because the Insurance amount depends on the Total Estimate, while the Total Estimate also includes Insurance. In Excel, this type of calculation is handled using Iterative Calculation.    Example: Direct Cost = $10,000 Insurance = 10% of Total Estimate   The intended calculation is: Total Estimate = Direct Cost + Insurance Insurance = 10% × Total Estimate   Final Result: Insurance (final) = $1,111 Total Estimate (final) = $11,111 Show More

In ProEst, the “Enter” key does not work when a picklist is the last Item in an Assembly that you are adding to a given Estimate or Takeoff. We understand that we can use the “Save” icon. However, it would improve estimating efficiency if the “Enter” key worked consistently after entering variable inputs for a given Assembly. Having to locate and click the “Save” icon every time is unnecessarily cumbersome and slows down the workflow. We can modify my formulas to work around this limitation, but that is not an ideal solution. Please consider adding this functionality. Thank you! Show More

Once you upload a new model version with the same name and it is recognized by the cloud as a newer version, you are no longer able to delete the different versions.   Since I have been experimenting with updating the model and keeping the Assets linked to the different elements we are getting to a point where a specific project has 20 almost identical versions of the same model.   The workaround in order to go back to the original version is to download the first source file and upload it as the newest. That in turn creates an unnecessary duplication of files and added storage.      Show More

Currently, only 20 projects are shown on each page when adding a new form to an existing project.   Our company has over 1000 projects, so when a new form is created, it means we have to go through nearly 60 pages to select all projects.  The current "select all" option only selects the 20 projects shown on each page.  A feature that would allow a true select all feature would be very efficient and useful.       @swolf8PBYM - The moderation team edited the title per original posters request.  Show More
