Hello Autodesk Team, I would like to suggest the development of a dedicated Autodesk software specifically for the Precast Concrete industry. Currently, precast engineers and manufacturers use a combination of Revit, AutoCAD, and other tools, but there is no single Autodesk solution that fully covers the complete precast workflow from modeling to production. Suggested Capabilities for the New Precast Software: 1) Precast Product Modeling - Wall, Beam, Column, Slab, Stair, Pile, etc. - Parametric precast elements with production-level accuracy 2) Rebar Modeling & Detailing - Full 3D rebar modeling - Automatic rebar clash detection - Bar bending schedule (BBS) generation 3) Cast-in & Embedded Items - Lifting anchors, lifters - Inserts, plates, sleeves, couplers - Automatic placement rules and checks 4) Engineering & QA Tools - Centroid and weight calculation - Lifting and handling checks - Clash detection between rebar, embeds, and concrete 5) Shop Drawings & Schedules - Automatic shop drawings - Rebar schedules, embed schedules - Casting and production drawings 6) Manufacturing & ERP Integration - Mold/table layout - Casting sequence - Data export for production planning and ERP systems Why This Is Important: Precast construction is growing rapidly worldwide, but engineers still depend on third-party plugins or multiple software tools. A dedicated Autodesk Precast solution would improve productivity, accuracy, and integration across design, detailing, and manufacturing. Thank you for considering this suggestion. Best Regards,
