Our team has noticed some gaps in the Files Packages tool. This tool has the potential to be extremely useful, but the current limitations make it difficult to implement. Our suggestion are: 1. Enable all file metadata and custom attributes to be edited just like they are in the Files-Folder view.  2. Every feature that is available in Files-Folder under the three dots menu should be available in Files-Packages (especially the move, copy, rename functions)  3. All data for Packages should be exportable from the root view of the of the Files-Packages window, and this export should also include a list of files with their versions that is hyperlinked.  4. Custom fields should be added for Packages that can be edited in the Package itself or the root view.  5. you should be able to create a reference for package, or multiple packages (through multi select and a bulk action) in the root view. References should be to every item in the software, including Meeting Items.  6. There should be some way to view packages from desktop connecter, either in the data connector or some other user-friendly window. Currently, within Forma Data Management  there is no native option to apply a stamp (such as ‘Approved’, ‘Reviewed’, ‘Confidential’ or any custom image/text) to multiple files at once. This forces us to open each drawing, model or document individually to add the stamp manually, which is tedious, error‑prone and completely unworkable for projects with hundreds or thousands of files. We need a tool that lets us select multiple files directly from the Data Management interface and apply a stamp in bulk, with options to define position, scale, transparency and whether to overwrite or respect existing stamps. This functionality would save hours of repetitive work, standardise visual communication across projects, and improve traceability. Hello, Introduce a feature in Autodesk Forma that allows users to permanently delete their files, after a clear confirmation step, for example through a recycle bin with a final delete option. This enhancement would bring several key benefits: Increase customer trust by giving users full control over the lifecycle of their data. Remove a barrier to Cloud adoption, especially for customers concerned about governance, security and data ownership. Improve storage clarity by avoiding the accumulation of obsolete or low-value files. Support digital sustainability goals by reducing unnecessary data retention in the Cloud. Align Forma with market expectations, where permanent data deletion is often considered a standard capability. This feature could become a strong argument to reassure customers who are hesitant to adopt Forma and, more broadly, Autodesk Cloud solutions. Show More

Could Autodesk please consider an option to bulk edit review workflow templates.  I would very much like to be able to select multiple workflows in Settings and be able to add/remove roles and change review time allowed periods in bulk instead of individually - this would save a massive amount of time for project administrators. Currently Project Admins can change permissions for visibility for each category of assets but not for subcategories. Is it possible to edit permissions for each subcategory separately to avoid people having too much access and being able to see things they're not supposed to but at the same time have other members who can see all assets at once and not waste time switching between categories? We are just dipping our toes into the new Bid within Preconstruction, but I can already see something that might be needed depending on the direction this will go.   Bid will need a "Hub bidding projects view" so you can see all bids across your entire Hub as it stands right now you can only see the bids within the project you are in.   Right now, you can click on "View in BuildingConnected" but when this product is complete, I assume Autodesk will want to shut down BuildingConnected and use this instead. While working with Office files, sometimes users are taking a Word or Excel file as reference and want to copy it within the same folder.  This is something that it's not possible today, we firstly need to: 1.copy the file in another different folder 2.Rename the file 3.Copy the file back in the right folder   It could be great and will gain a lot of time if we could make copies of files as it's possible in SharePoint today. Our team needs to be able to sort ALL columns within the Issues module, not just the ones currently offered.    Columns such as "Assigned To", "Location", and "Created By" cannot be sorted (they can be filtered, but not sorted), and it's imperative to our process that we are able to sort those columns, especially during the punch list phase. Being able to see all items, but ordered in these ways helps us out in the field and in the office when we need to print/send reports.  We are also not able to adjust the column widths of the ID or Status columns, which creates a lot of dead space on our desktops. Being able to edit the widths of ALL columns would be another quality of life upgrade. Show More

Currently all admins are automatically added to the "Manage" permissions of forms. At the same time, when a form is set to have Reviews turned on, all "Manage" permission users are also treated as reviewers. This causes all project admins on a project to receive emails every single time a form is submitted for review, even though the project admins have nothing to do with that form and have no way of turning it off. I reached out to support, who told me this is how it is intended to work, which I strongly disagree with, and was told to post my "idea" here. Currently can only filter by 10 locations in Reports. The scenario: Our Architect is snagging 15 rooms over say 3 floors. I know you can filter by floor, dates range and created by etc. But the architect wants to be able to see which rooms were captured on the cover page so they want to filter to be by Room Location only. Hi everyone,   I would like to raise a major limitation in the Autodesk (ACC / Forma) workflow regarding data traceability and deliverables for clients or consultants.   Currently, inside the side panels for specific issues, the Activity log section contains critical audit information: the complete status history (e.g., Open -> Closed), updated thumbnails, and official comments exchanged between teams.   Although this data is vital for justifying project decisions, the platform does not offer any direct export button (PDF or Excel) specifically for this visual feed within the pop-up panel. Generating a general project report or pulling data through the Data Connector are workflows that are far too rigid and time-consuming when you instantly need the history of a single issue (for instance, during a coordination meeting or for a quick client update). Furthermore, the web interface restricts manual text selection within that panel.   I strongly request the implementation of a simple "Export Activity Log to PDF" option directly within the issue menu, which would preserve the current chronology and visual formatting.   Please let me know if this feature is on the product roadmap for upcoming updates. At the moment when I create a section box in NavisWorks and publish this to a NWD file on ACC Forma. The ACC Forma viewer shows the whole model and not the sectioned objects.   Due to large and complex models a tool as NavisWorks is needed to do clash detection and point out certain projectparts to other users (without creating an extra issue).    Gr Renzo Show More

The current Forma notification format appears to be structured as an HTML table. Based on testing and research, this makes it difficult for Outlook to create specific rules or filters because the key notification text is embedded within the table format, rather than being available as plain searchable text.   It would be very helpful to have improved integration between Forma notifications and Outlook so users can create rules based on specific notification types, keywords, projects, or status updates.   This would allow the full list of Forma notifications to be automatically filtered into specific Outlook folders for better tracking, organization, and follow-up. For construction teams managing multiple projects, issues, and updates, this would make Forma notifications much easier to manage and act on. Show More

I feel like I run into this all the time in construction: getting DWG files from Revit models. Currently, you either have to coordinate this setup on the front end with your AOR/EOR so they export DWGs from the RVT, or you have to physically open the RVT file in Revit and export the DWGs manually. It would be amazing if Forma could acquire, export, or push DWG files directly. I could see this working in two possible ways: Export DWG files from PDFs. Export DWG files from 2D and 3D sheets/views within the Forma file. Whether this is added as a checkbox in the export settings or introduced as a new DWG export option, I think it would be a very useful feature for construction teams. Show More

Currently in a review you can only copy a file to a singular static destination once it is approved. If you have a WIP progress folder and a Published folder where the subfolders in both are mirrored, it'd be great if you could set a dynamic destination so it copies the approved file over to the matching subfolder in the published folder from the WIP folder. When creating a project template you cannot apply naming conventions to folders within the template, it's not until you create a project with the template that you can apply the naming convention to folders. This means every time you create a project you have to manually go through and assign naming conventions, which sort of defeats the purpose of having a template. Show More
