Currently, various endpoints only allow data to be pulled by page. Pages contain only 25 records per page. Also, the documentation says that it is optional, but this is deceiving. What optional means in this case is that the default page is page one. If the user wants a different page, they need to specify. This is limiting our ability to pull data in a reasonable time frame to improve our processes and run analysis. It is pushing us to avoid the API and rely on exports or downloaded reports making the manual process faster than the automated one. We would also prefer to use the API, because it is less likely to be updated in ways that could potentially disrupt processes.    Recommendation: Increase items on a page would be great, or removing the pagination and relying on more robust filters. This would help us to pull more data quicker to better do the analysis we need. Show More

I have noticed that on my andriod phone, the Fusion Operations mobile app does not allow me to take screenshots. The screenshot comes out completely black. This makes it difficult to describe problems to your support team. It also makes it difficult to create tutorials that show workers how to use the app. Please consider looking into this and fixing it. I've identified a bug in the way dates are sorted in our production schedule view. Problem Description: When attempting to sort production orders by the "START DATE" or "DUE DATE" columns, the sorting logic appears to be text-based (alphabetical) rather than chronological. This results in an incorrect order that does not reflect the actual timeline. Steps to Reproduce: Navigate to the production schedule for any machine (e.g., Machine: WP-0001). Click the sort arrow on the "START DATE" column header. Observe the resulting order of the entries. Expected Behavior: The production orders should be sorted chronologically. For example, an ascending sort should list them from the earliest date to the latest date (e.g., 16/09, 23/09, 29/09). Actual Behavior: The list is sorted as if the dates were text strings. As shown in the attached screenshot, the order is 29/09, 16/09, 23/09. This is because the system is sorting by the first digit of the day ('1', then '2'), instead of the value of the entire date. For instance, certain data can’t be easily filtered, and working with it in Excel can be cumbersome. I’m aware of the option to use APIs with tools like Power BI, which is a great feature. Details: Hello, I'm a Fusion user who primarily uses it for designing 3D-printable parts. I'd like to suggest a feature that I think would be quite useful for a number of users. When designing in CAD by entering precise dimensions, it can sometimes be difficult to intuitively grasp how large the finished model will actually be in real life. Since the on-screen size changes depending on the zoom level, numerical values alone don't always give a reliable sense of physical scale. With that in mind, I'd like to propose a real-size view feature that displays the model at its true physical size on screen. Here's the implementation approach I had in mind: On first setup, Fusion displays two reference points on the screen. The user holds a ruler up to the screen, measures the distance between the two points, and enters the value. After that, the real-size view can be toggled at any time via a quick menu or similar shortcut. Since every monitor has a different size and resolution, I think a one-time personal calibration step like this would be the most practical approach. It may not be the simplest feature to implement, but I believe it would be genuinely useful — especially for users who frequently design parts for 3D printing or real-world component modeling. Our disabled machines that have recurring maintenance orders attached to them still show up on maintenance order reports. In a specific case, we have a machine that we actually sold and no longer have here but still must consider when looking at our maintenance orders. We don't want to delete the maintenance records associated with the machine but we can't delete the recurring order because of the attached records. This is leading to inaccuracies in our reporting because our maintenance tech either has to complete the order (though he didn't really do the work) or it shows up on the report as a late or incomplete task. Either way it becomes an inaccurate data point when calculating our KPI's.  Show More

I am proposing that the new Constraint command should have a new mode called something like 'position components'. The Position mode will position components just like the Move and Align command so that after positioning them the command will have no other influence on the positioned components. This way just like the new constraint has superseded the Joint commands in Rigid body positioning the Position variant will likewise replace 'Move' and 'Align' as an 'easier' way of positioning components relative to one another.   To this end, for components that were positioned with the 'Constraining' mode variant one should also be able to right-click a Relation in the Relationship folder and choose 'Release' whereby the constraint will no longer exist but leaving the previously constrained component where it currently is, not where it was before the constraint was added. It should also be possible to 'Release' the entire relationship folder in case releasing one or more components upsets some constraint dependences elsewhere in the graph.   This last request would also address a position that I currently find myself in, where I want to add a constraint but cannot because of some previously created constraint which conflicts with the one I am trying to create. In this case I have sometimes been tempted to remove some constraints which I think is/are responsible (if I can remember), or the entire Relationship directory so that I can start constraining a-new from that point, but whenever I have tried this I have often had some really weired results including several components thrown somewhere into outer space or worse still changing the geometry of some components...yes that's happened!   In short it will be great to add the power of the constraining command to component moving while still being able to freely move the components again afterwards without falling into side effects issues.   All the best,   Stephen. At our organisation, we export products mostly to rename the Product Code and import them back into Fusion Operations for a new Product Family or a new Production Order. This is done for repeated productions. The most time-consuming part of creating Products is creating operations for them and defining their production flow. But this production flow doesnt get exported while exporting Products. If this production flow also gets exported, it would reduce the time consumed for creating similar products as the Products Import Template can be used. Show More

Hello, I would like to report an issue with the total cost calculation in Purchase Orders within Fusion Operations. When creating a Purchase Order, the system is not calculating the line total correctly due to an internal rounding problem. Here is an example: Quantity: 5 units Unit Price: 1.55 Expected Total: 7.75 Fusion Total: 7.80 This 0.05 difference is critical because it prevents us from generating accurate and legally consistent Purchase Orders, and it causes discrepancies when matching against supplier invoices. Right now, any time we want to try out a workflow change, experiment with Production Orders, or test inventory movements, we have to do it inside the live system. That slows things down, risks bad data, and can cause issues with our actual production flow. A “Sandbox” or “Test Environment” would fix that. This would be a separate area inside Fusion where we can safely run experiments without affecting real jobs, inventory, or reporting. We could test things like: Mock Production Orders Inventory in/out movement ideas New process flows Changes to routing or shop steps How different updates interact together Basically, a playground version of Fusion where we can troubleshoot problems, try out improvements, and run training without touching live data. This would help us solve workflow issues faster, test ideas safely, and avoid mistakes in the real system. Show More
