When using Fusion Operations on a smartphone, long Production Order names and Operation names may be truncated because the text is automatically adjusted to the available screen size.
In our customer’s shop floor environment, operators handle multiple Production Orders and Operations at the same time. When the names are truncated, it becomes difficult to identify the correct job from the list, which increases the risk of selecting the wrong Production Order or Operation.
We would like to request improvements to the mobile interface so that users can easily confirm the full name of each item.
Possible improvements could include:
- Display the full Production Order / Operation name over multiple lines
- Allow users to expand the text by tapping or long-pressing the item
- Show the full name in a tooltip or pop-up
- Provide an option to adjust the amount of text displayed on mobile
- Allow horizontal scrolling or another method to view the complete name
This would significantly improve usability for shop floor operators who need to identify and select jobs quickly from a smartphone.
