We do a lot of welding, and our welders prefer using printed drawings instead of tablets or other electronic devices, which can be susceptible to damage from weld sparks and similar shop-floor conditions. The goal of allowing PDFs to be printed from the tablet is to ensure that the drawings come from a controlled location via the product files that are managed by Fusion Operations administrators. It would be helpful for those who are more visual with product to be able to see a picture of the part rather than just the Part number.  I would suggest being able to create a label with a JPEG in the files showing the actual part.  most people know what they want but do not always remember the number associated with it. US addresses are currently displayed like this on Purchase Orders.   There isn't a way to rearrange the fields so that they display as NAME STREET ADDRESS CITY, STATE ZIP COUNTRY   Support suggested this workaround, which we are now using but it would be nice to be able to use the proper fields and just select an address format (based on country) or customize it ourselves. It would be really helpful if we could store more than just PDF files in the Document Management section (under Quality). Right now, it only supports PDFs, but we often have files in different formats—like Excel or Word—that we’d like to keep for documentation purposes. It would make things so much easier if we could upload and manage those directly in Fusion Operations. Show More

Could a "View Only" option be added to specific roles? For example, some Back Office employees might need access to information in the Quality Document Management folders but they would only be allowed to view or download files and not add their own. Or someone could have a better view of purchase orders in the Back Office and can look at the information but not be allowed to change/delete anything. Show More

It would be great if the Worker Print ID report could be customised to add company logo, additional information etc.   Being able to change the paper size would enable the print ID to be printed direct onto ID cards etc. Show More

Simple idea: after shipping some items on a sales order but not shipping complete, there should be an option to reprint that sales order afterwards showing what has shipped and what has not shipped. When a partial order is shipped it may be weeks before the rest of the order is ready. I give the packing slip with the sales order to the accounting person so that we can invoice for what has shipped. Then I would like to print a new sales order clearly showing what has shipped and what is still to ship.  Show More

@andrade_david added this to a new idea as you requested. I have been trying to use [production.bom] and have a few comments.  First off, I love that this info is available for labels. That said, the formatting of the table and the current text size options makes this hard to practically use on standard labels (4"x6" in our case) if you have more than a handful of items in the BOM.  The fixed column width for the second column makes the description take up multiple lines and I can not utilize the white space on the right of my label.  Here are some examples of an product with a 12 item BOM using this.  I also put in the example of the work-around I was using where I would copy the BOM from the materials/sub-products tab and paste it into the notes section as a comparison. I am not sure if there is a way to have a parameter for the column width in the label code or if the default width could be wider, or if the table would scale to fit the width of the label, etc.  Even a smaller font would help out some on this although some printers will struggle clearly printing too fine of details.  Thank you.           Report Show More

We put observations (descriptions) of our products here along with notes.  I would like to have this information travel with the product when we add a product to a quote, sales order, and purchase order.  Instead we have to go to that product page and copy/paste the observations.   Show More

We need the "Observations" field in sales orders to show up on packing slips. On a lot of our orders we do parts that are a one-time deal and do not want to add a new ""product" every time we do this so we use a product called "Custom Part" and define the product in observations. Not having the observations field show up on packing slips really negates a lot of useful information. Show More
