We do a lot of welding, and our welders prefer using printed drawings instead of tablets or other electronic devices, which can be susceptible to damage from weld sparks and similar shop-floor conditions. The goal of allowing PDFs to be printed from the tablet is to ensure that the drawings come from a controlled location via the product files that are managed by Fusion Operations administrators. This helps prevent incorrect or outdated drawing revisions from being printed from other locations within the facility. The current print icon button in the PDF viewer does not work.
