We have created a project template for our company to use for all new projects in Autodesk. There are a number of settings, permissions and templates that can only be setup after the new project has been created. This becomes a very time consuming process with the number of projects we are creating. The following updates would be great to see and edit at a project template level in Autodesk Build: Schedule adding roles to schedule permissions creating plan templates (currently this can only be done within each project, but you still have to manually build the plan each time first) Assets adding roles to permissions Enabling collections in sheets Correspondence creating correspondence types adding roles to permissions

We notice that sorting and filtering function does not work together in the Correspondence module. Before filtering, we can sort by asc/desc for IDs, Sent Date and others. However, once a filter is made, it cannot be sorted. This should not be the case as we still need to sort it by latest sent date or ID. @tushar_nath

It would be very useful if users could: Reorder and customise the displayed columns. Add/remove columns as required. Display referenced correspondence IDs/links in a dedicated column. Having the referenced correspondence visible in the register would provide a quick summary of related communications without opening each correspondence individually, improving efficiency when managing large volumes of project correspondence.

The page movement at page edge is too fast and starts too early. When drawing a line or an area, getting 1/2" from page edge SUDDENLY pushes you way off the edge of the page. That scrolling should start slower then increase the further past the edge you go. It causes a lot of difficulty when the page SUDDENLY shifts away.

Feature Request Currently, the Levels panel in the ACC Model Viewer only allows users to select one level at a time. This limitation makes it difficult to review models that span multiple floors or require coordination across adjacent levels. I would like Autodesk to add support for multiple level selection in the Levels panel. Proposed Functionality Allow users to select multiple levels using: Ctrl + Click to select individual levels. Shift + Click to select a range of levels. Display all selected levels simultaneously in the viewer. Allow users to easily add or remove levels from the current selection. Benefits This feature would significantly improve model review and coordination workflows, especially for: BIM Coordinators Construction Teams Use Cases Review MEP systems running through multiple floors. Check vertical risers, shafts, and staircases. Coordinate equipment spanning several levels. Compare architectural, structural, and MEP models across adjacent floors. Reduce repetitive clicking when reviewing several floors.

WE unable to work on excel more than one at same time, we need this feature ASAP, since our core team need an permission of multiple user to access excel, word file at same time. IT should be able to save the file,as file should not be getting locked.

remove the auto page assignment and don't mess up the order of the document pages. You have the pages order going 1, 10, 11, 12....... 2, 20,21..ect. that why of sorting pages does nothing but making me go thru every page and naming it so your system is forced to order them in a usable fashion. since you can't auto order the pages to anything useful with out that naming every page please just leave the document order the way the document comes in.

Notifying all participants when a form reaches Closed is important my organization in some of the Forms. Feature: Notify all form participants when a Form is Closed Description: When a Form status changes to Closed, automatically send an email (and optionally in-app notification) to the form creator, all section assignees (completed or pending), reviewers, and watchers. This provides confirmation that the workflow has been completed and allows stakeholders to take any follow-up actions without manually checking the Forms list. This request is distinct from the already implemented sequential notification feature and would address the end-of-workflow communication gap.

Within a form, on each question, you can currently: Attach document from computer Add new photo or reference existing Add new issue or reference existing Add text note What I would like to have is for a document to reference by question. I know you can reference within the form overall on the basic information tab. There are instances where I want to reference a document that is within data management. You could even set it up similar to static version packages where it is referenced on that question on the specific version added. Better yet, make that configurable by the admin where it will keep updated or static version! I think this flexibility would be very beneficial when completing forms.

We have noted PDFs should be viewed in Continuous scroll mode to display correctly. The default PDF viewer changes colours randomly, but display correctly when continuous scroll is selected instead, highlighting that it is not an issue with the file itself. Please address urgently as we need files to be viewed the way they were intended!

The Issues tool allows for Issues to be imported in bulk from an Excel file. However, this import method does not allow for GPS coordinates to be imported. This is a major shortcoming, especially on some of our projects which involve the creation of thousands of location-specific Issues for tracking. Please can the Excel import be updated to include GPS coordinates?

Add functionality to colourise Issue Pins by metadata - Categories or Custom Attribute from the Issues settings menu. This will allow ease of identification of Issue type/category etc through colour. Colour option, show colour via status, show colour via Category/Type. Limiting the colour to status only means the viewing of Issue Pins relies on other filtering heavily. Issues currently show an ID in plan view - this should be available in 3D - not limited to simple circle. Colour of Type/Category also visible in 3D. This would ehance viewing and reporting of Issues within a project. Ease of Identification, graphical filtering. Please consider.

It would be very helpful to allow modifications to committed tasks due to input errors without fully replanning the task. Situations such as accidental incorrect selection of assignee, company, role, and location. In the current state, if these errors are made and not caught before the task is committed to, they cannot be changed. Adding a separate root cause to these changes could be set in place if needed. It's too easy to make entry errors and be stuck with them.

Model-Based Issue (Defect) Management Intent Enhance issue management by connecting defects created in 2D sheets directly to the corresponding 3D model elements, creating a single, model-centric workflow. Idea Enable users to create issues from sheets while automatically retaining associated model metadata and Element IDs. Each issue should be visible and reportable in both 2D and 3D views without requiring duplicate issues or manual linking. Project level, discipline, and location classifications should drive issue organization and reporting across both environments. Element IDs should remain attached to support downstream coordination, construction tracking, and as-built update processes. Benefit This would deliver true model-based issue management by eliminating disconnected workflows, reducing duplicate effort, improving traceability, and enabling more efficient coordination throughout the project lifecycle. The result is a single source of truth for issue tracking, model coordination, and construction status management.

From time to time, users make mistakes or inadvertently perform unintended actions within ACC Build Plans. Currently, there is no fundamental Undo capability to quickly reverse these actions. This lack of error recovery increases frustration, slows workflows, and can lead to data inconsistencies.

It would be very useful as a user, to be able to save the custom column selection/widths so the same settings applied across all folders and projects. It is very frustrating that every folder I go into, I have to adjust the columns to suit my screen size and preferences, rather than just doing it once for all.

Target Desktop Connector and Autodesk Build Photos Purpose Enable easy access and utilization of photos stored in Autodesk Build from Windows PCs, similar to how files can be accessed through Desktop Connector. Current Challenge Currently, Desktop Connector allows users to access and manage Autodesk Data Management files directly through Windows File Explorer. However, Autodesk Build Photos cannot be accessed in the same way. As a result, Build Photos cannot be seamlessly integrated into existing Windows-based workflows, making it more difficult to manage and utilize project photos efficiently. Request Please add support for displaying Build Photos as a dedicated folder within Desktop Connector. In addition, we would like Build Photos to be accessible as a virtual drive through Desktop Connector, similar to standard Windows folders. This would allow users to browse and manage photos directly from Windows File Explorer. This enhancement would make it easier to: - Access Build photos directly from Windows Explorer - Integrate Build Photos with external systems - Automate photo management processes using scripts, batch files, or other tools We believe this enhancement would significantly improve the efficiency of photo management workflows in Autodesk Build.
