Asset attribute values sometimes contain commas, which is hard to avoid, esplecially when the values are extracted from Revit models. When exporting those assets to a CSV file that uses comma as the only option for delimiter, the commas from the attribute values get mixed with the delimiting commas which makes the export unusable. In projects that are still work in progress, we often publish views especially if there are no sheets to be had yet. I just found that these published views do not show whether they are floor plans, rcps, sections or whatever. Users end up with many views all called Level 1 (depending on your localization). Those using ACC for design reviews or meetings are often times not identical with those using authoring applications and may not be able to tell them apart. The grand idea would be to show the view category when hovering over them or call them FP: Level 1, RCP: Level 1, SP: Level 1 etc. The project I stumbled upon this used single letters for its sections thus giving view names like A, B, C rather than Section A etc. I would not mind finding something like Section: Section 1 in ACC. The year dates for projects only goes back to 2004. We are using Build to archive projects for buildings of different ages, 1981, 1926, and 2019. All of these buildings are still in service and we want to include their history of projects to inform current ones. Show More

ACC Docs allows you to load 3D Models very easily and in various formats, which helps to visualize quickly, but I see it as very necessary to be able to use the commenting tools in Docs and not necessarily have BIM Collaborate to perform and assign tasks. to the work team. In the Assets > Settings > Custom Fields, the default fields for Manufacturer and Model can have their name changed. This is great as it allows customisation to meet client standards. But the Barcode field cannot be changed.   This Idea is to allow changing the Barcode field so that its name can also adhere to client standards. A renamed Barcode field should continue to allow this field to be used for barcode scanning on the mobile app. Show More

Dear Autodesk   Wishlist Home & Design Collaboration Module: The size of the Package Description dialogue box. Please make this expandable. If you look at that site page, there is sooo much unused space in there. Looks pretty, but please can you give it more flexibility and User control. 1.1 and not being able to create a PDF of the Package shared, screengrabs are not cool, please help! The Upload dialogue box in the bottom right, needs to be expandable because you cant read the file name if its longer than the box itself. 3.1 - Please make the Upload dialogue box, dockable (needs to separate from the browser window and expand it independently) and retain its transaction records, when you refresh the window...gone! Not cool. The Swimlane's window needs to be expandable to show all participants enrolled on your project, 8 lanes is cool, but all *20 visible, would be awesome!  5.1 and not being able to create a PDF of the Swimlane's, screengrabs are not cool, please help! Please separate the 3D view of the model, that takes forever to refresh... when you working with Package setup. Perhaps a button to preview the model if you want to see what it looks like? Dealing with over 500 models take your server some time to work through, its lovely, but this can save so much time! 7.1 It, the Package, freaks out if there are items with name changes or modifications to anything in the previous list, if you use the Reuse option. It would make sense if it retained the list and reported where the changes are to the list and what items specifically. When preparing a Package for sharing, you know that list on the left side, Models etc, where you have to tickboxes the models or drawings..? Yes. I'm gonna be honest. It really sucks A$$! Especially if you have over 5000 drawings and models and when point number 8. above happens, you wait forever for the Share Button to appear and the list to refresh! Yes, reduce, reduce, redo... I hear you.. however, lets meet in the middle here. Its big project, there is loads of important stuff there. Can you make it see only the folders I want?.. not the entire WIP area? 9.1 and the List part needs to be expandable because you cant read the file name if its longer than the box itself. You have to hover over the name to find the end part of the name. Workflows, exports are lovely for .csv Excel, what would be awesome..? PDF's The Project Home and the Design Packages dashboard webpart and its connection to the Design Collaboration area needs a better switch logic.
