On large projects, users can encounter product limitations due to the volume of data managed within the Handover module. To improve scalability and usability, it would be beneficial to add a date range filter for exports, allowing teams to export only the records required for a specific period instead of the entire dataset. Bulk export functionality should also better support large datasets and attachments. Attachments are a critical part of project handover, particularly for RFIs and Submittals. Currently, when exporting RFIs or Submittals individually, the associated attachments are included. However, this functionality appears to be missing or limited when exporting data in bulk, creating additional manual effort and increasing the risk of incomplete handover packages. We have seen similar challenges in other workflows. For example, a team member had to export more than 2,000 RFIs individually to ensure all required information and attachments were captured. Likewise, large Handover exports can result in multi-GB ZIP files that are difficult to manage and access efficiently. Consider enhancements such as: Date range filtering for exports Inclusion of all associated attachments in bulk exports Improved handling of large ZIP packages, including segmented downloads or smaller export packages These improvements would help teams work more effectively within product limitations, reduce manual effort, and provide a more practical handover experience for large and complex projects.   Show More

Around the world, lots are used to divide large projects into smaller, more manageable tasks. This approach is standard practice in international procurement, civil engineering, and commercial construction. With its packages, FORMA Data-Management offers a system for reflecting this reality. It organizes the data by assigning it to multiple packages, eliminating the need to repeatedly copy the same document into different folders. The data for these lots includes PDF, Word, and Excel documents, models, and, of course, floor plans. Which easily change after the contract has been signed in any project. Problem: Watchers are not automatically notified of these changes, even if the package status is set to “(current version).” Impact: An architect ( can't overwhelm all contractors with the same big data all the time. Information must be split and sorted and brought to the right contractor) So he must now manually notify the 30 different contractors in one project of every change in their lots(such as new versions, indexes, or other attributes) to the documents. Or they must delete the same drawings from the package and add them again, which takes a lot of time for each file.  Solution: We need a notification system that informs watchers not only about the package attributes themselves but also about updates to the package’s contents. In the ACC Build Plans module, accessing activity details requires different actions depending on the view. In List View, users can single‑click on an activity to open the details field. In Swim Lane View, however, users must double‑click to access the same details. Activity Log Search It would be very helpful to have the ability to search the Activity Log in the Project Admin section using a keyword or phrase. Ideally, the search would include the entire activity timeline, rather than being limited to the last 30 days. While you can select specific activity types to narrow down the information, it can still take quite a bit of time to find something when you don't know when the activity occurred. Being able to search for a folder name, file name, user, or other keyword would make it much faster and easier to locate the specific activity you're looking for. This would be a great time-saving enhancement for anyone who needs to review project activity history! Show More

Currently, correspondence IDs are automatically generated with the GCOR prefix and sequential numbering when uploading responses EX from Outlook. This makes it difficult to group related items such as RFIs, PCOs, or Submittals under a consistent ID scheme. Users cannot change or customise the ID to align with project workflows.   Proposed Solution Allow users to change or customise the correspondence ID after creation. Enable creation of different ID types/prefixes, e.g., RFI, PCO, SUB. When sending or sharing correspondence, the chosen prefix (e.g., RFI ID) should appear in the email subject and tracking. In Autodesk Forma, assigning a Form or an Issue to a user happens immediately after selecting the assignee. There is currently no confirmation step before the assignment is completed. While this process is quick, it can often lead to accidental assignments, especially on projects with large teams where users may have similar names or where a simple mis click can result in assigning the item to the wrong person. When an incorrect assignment occurs, project teams need to spend additional time identifying the mistake and reassigning the Form or Issue to the correct user. This creates unnecessary administrative effort, can cause delays in workflows and may lead to confusion among project stakeholders. A simple confirmation dialog before completing the assignment would help reduce these errors. For example, after selecting a user, the system could display a message such as: "Are you sure you want to assign this Form/Issue to [Username]?" with Confirm and Cancel options. This enhancement would provide users with an opportunity to verify their selection before the assignment is finalized, improving accuracy, accountability and overall user experience. The issue has been observed across multiple projects and affects several users, making this a valuable improvement for teams managing Forms and Issues at scale. Show More
