We’ve recently noticed a change in the “Your Assigned Work” button on the home page. Previously, this quick link worked exactly as intended, showing only open submittals that required action. Now, however, it’s also displaying closed submittals, which creates unnecessary clutter and confusion — for example, my home page currently shows 9 submittals under “Your Assigned Work,” but non of them are actually open. In some of our projects, team members are seeing 50+ items under "your assigned work" when only 2–3 are truly active. This change makes it harder to quickly identify and address real tasks, slows workflows, and reduces the feature’s usefulness. Restoring the original functionality — excluding closed submittals — would return this tool to its intended purpose and greatly improve efficiency for teams managing large volumes of work. Show More

Certain tools in ACC Build including ISSUES and RFIs allow for comments to be included when exporting the item. When an ISSUE or RFI is exported, there is the option to include comments by means of a slider bar.   It would be useful to have the option to include comments when exporting submittals. This would assist us as the comments made on submittals are important and should be documented for future reference. Show More

If you use AutoSpec, it creates individual submittal items under for a spec section (product data, warranties, shop drawings, etc.). If the Responsible Contractor has multiple items in a single PDF file being sent in for review, they have do one of the following: -attach the same PDF to each item and submit them -the person creating the submittal entries has to combined from the start -they have to break each type out (not typically possible) in its own PDF file. It would be helpful to be able to bulk submit one PDF that covers multiple items, so the reviewers don't have to review the same file multiple times. I would think that packaging would be the ideal thing for this, but currently that only creates an association for them as a reference point in Submittals and doesn't bind them together for a single review. Maybe the current packaging feature should be changed to associate similar item/system with something Asset based, and then repurpose the packaging to allow bundling of submittal items together so one PDF/file can be reviewed for multiple items. We urgently need more control over user permissions in Submittals. As Administrators, we do not want to allow Submittal creators (contractors) to be able to create Spec sub sections. We cannot remove their permission, otherwise they lose the ability to create submittals. Show More

In the current submissions workflow, every time you move to the next submission step, you must manually copy each attachment from the previous step to the current one. This process is unnecessarily time-consuming. When copying a file, the interface automatically scrolls down to where the copied file appears at the bottom of the list. If you have a long list (e.g., 30+ files), this forces you to scroll all the way back up for every single file, making it difficult to keep track of which files you’ve already copied and which ones remain. It slows down the workflow significantly. Suggested improvements: Add a “Copy All Attachments to Current Step” button This would allow users to transfer all files from the previous step in one action instead of copying them one by one. Make the attachments pop-up window resizable Allowing users to drag the window edges to enlarge it would provide better visibility of the file list, reducing scrolling and improving usability. These small improvements would save a lot of time, reduce user frustration, and make the submissions process much smoother for projects with many attachments. Show More

We have a project in which there are 2 people that are Architects and only 1 is needed to answer an RFI or Submittal.  At this time Autodesk only allows you to set one default reviewer.  We would like the option added in which there can be more than one default reviewer but only 1 is needed to move the RFI/Submittal forward. It would be very helpful if there was a "previous" and "next" submittal button to toggle through the submittals in order rather than having to back out to the main submittal list and select the next submittal each time. It would be best if it was able to toggle through the filtered main list if a filter was applied.   For example, I need to work through tasks in my court, so to filter by Ball in Court, then toggle to the "next" in the list would be much faster than going back to the list page to select the next submittal.  Show More

I learned from the IT team that Submittal Managers need to follow extra steps to be able to create a submittal. The steps are as follows.   Create the Submittal with no attachment Send to a Subcontractor representative to attach the file Representative sends it back to you You then need to send it to the worthy parties from there My company does not add a representative from every Subcontractor to the project so we have them submit the documentation for our PE's to submit to the AOR or the EORs. This way we cut out two steps that are unnecessary.    Procore allows you to create and attach a file in the creation phase, not wait for someone else to attach it.  Show More

Every firm I’ve ever crossed paths with has some sort of disclaimer that is included with the returned submittal as part of the submittal stamp with the submittal status.  Example is below.       The missing piece is that there is nowhere to build the workflows so that it is included with every submittal. Current Date Picker does not allow a user to type the date. It also does not show previous months days. Sometimes there is a need to pick day outside the current month, which requires an additional clicks to switch months. However, if it's within the same week as a month change, many other date pickers will show the overlapping days greyed out, which allows a more functional selection without having to change months. Additionally please allow a user to use the scroll wheel to change months, so that there is no need to move your cursor.   Show More

While ACC supports multiple reviewer groups across different review steps, it currently does not support a draft-and-final workflow within the same reviewer group. There is no mechanism for group members to submit a draft response that can later be reviewed and formally submitted by a group lead as the final response for that group.   Suggest to have. ACC Build’s Submittals module works well—but we’re being forced to use it for two fundamentally different workflows: traditional contractor → consultant submittals and consultant → contractor change management items (Site Instructions, Contemplated Change Notices, Change Orders, Non-Conformance Reports, etc.). We’re using “Types” as a workaround to delineate these, but the log still becomes cluttered and harder to manage. We need the ability, at the project admin level, to duplicate the Submittals module configuration (exact copy) and rename the duplicate (e.g., “Change Management,” “Site Instructions,” etc.), so Submittals stays dedicated to contractor→consultant submittals while a separate, parallel tool cleanly manages consultant→contractor change items—without forcing everything into one overstuffed log. Users (especially the consultants) would like the ability to flag each submittal item with indicators for Cost Implication and Time Implication. Currently, ACC Submittals does not provide dedicated fields for capturing these impacts, making it difficult for project teams to assess potential variations or schedule risks early. This feature request proposes adding two optional columns—Cost Implication and Time Implication—as configurable Boolean or dropdown fields at the submittal item level. This enhancement would help stakeholders quickly identify submittals that may affect project cost or schedule and support more efficient decision-making, reporting, and risk tracking. Show More
