Issues permissions currently allow users with View/ Edit/ Assign access to assign Issues to others without restriction. Okland would like Trade Partners to submit issues to their team first for review, with only Okland team members (Manage or Admin level) having the ability to assign issues to responsible Trade Partners. At the moment only project admin has access to the issue templates because there are under the settings. We need the option that also project members has access to the issue templates and edit, can create new ones and activate/inactivate them. I was just exploring the "Issues on Sheets" (Beta) function while printing an issue report.   I like the map showing the issue pins with individual labels.  However, the plan is much too small to read, especially when printed.  we would to print a plan sheet on 18x24 (or larger) with the issue pins and issue number.  Having the ability to filter and only show pins for selected issue types would be extremely helpful.  Show More

While We create an issue on a drawing we have the options no options to add a markup as a reference. This is much needed as issue pin does not indicate an area. So we had to create a cloud markup but no way we can link that mark-up to the issue.          Show More

Review & Issue Templates In the Project Template these can only be role based The impact this has is that when a new project is created from a template and users are added, those users do not get notified of reviews or issues (and other tasks) that have been assigned to their role. Neither do these actions appear on their overall home screen or project specific home pages. Actions are thus getting missed. Our workaround, which is tedious, is to edit all review templates and all issue templates every time on each project to be user specific. We have many templates of each kind and many users. While BCF export was implemented at some point, you still cannot import issues found elsewhere. This format is for collaboration so why not embrace it and allow its use to report issues, requests for information, decisions made wherever they come from. Show More

We utilize Issues to track our projects and use photographs to document progress on a weekly basis. At the end of the week, we run a PDF report to include the photographs for each Issue, which are usually tied to each room or major area throughout the site. It would be beneficial to have a feature where we can set a range of photos to limit the number of photographs that get published when a report is ran. For example, if an item is used to track progress over the span of 25 weeks, there would be at least 2 photos to document the state of the site for that given week; keep in mind that every Issue (for each room/area) on the report would have a similar number of photos. Having only the most recent 6 photos for each Issue would keep the report to a digestible length. Has anyone run into a similar issue? I'd like their to be a quick button on each sheet to easily and quickly hide issues. Right now, when we open a sheet, it's hard to see the drawing when it's covered in issues. We always need to be able to see what's on the drawing. I think two things needs to happen    the issues icon should be a lot smaller when zoomed out so you can see the actual plans there should be a quick button to turn off issues and turn them on again so if you just need to see the plans, you can see them. The thumbnails for issues should be shown in the Issues list in both the Navisworks "Manage Issues" window and in the ACC "Issues" list. Coming up with unique names for every issue is very time consuming, so mine all tend to just have the conflicting trades as the titles. But not having the thumbnails makes this a very un-user-friendly list of identical titles. It would be very helpful to enable copy/paste functionality when creating issues. This would significantly improve efficiency during onsite punch walks, especially when we’re transferring repeated notes, unit-specific items, or standardized comments. Much like you can organize the position of the field fill-in within an issue type, it would be beneficial to organize the drop down options within a custom field. Right now the drop down options only let you put them in the order they were created, it would be more efficient to users managing issues if you could manipulate it by alphabetical order or order of priority, etc.   Show More

It looks like there's an option to transfer existing issues between Navisworks & ACC, but would it be possible to export issues either by type/category or template to be used/imported in another ACC project?    I guess an alternate option would maybe be a separate tool for admin specific requests that need customizing & tracking in a similar way.   A little more info: I'm testing a few custom admin request templates in our test project (ie. requesting someone be added to the project - see image). Once I know they are working the way I want, I'd like to have an option to transfer them to the live projects instead of rebuilding every one. Of course it'd be ideal for them to be in our project template, but our current projects are helping to build our template foundation. I also fully expect we'll need to add or make edits as we continue to learn & grow, so having a way to quickly duplicate/update/transfer just the few as needed, instead of rebuilding in each project, would be helpful. We are facing a huge problem with issue import feature,  it doesn't allow email notification to the assigned member. An assigned member who never receives an email notification is something serious that will cause delays and faults in the system. So my question is, we have more than 100 projects on the Acc system so how a member will be notified on an issue? He/She have to visit each project to check?!   Show More

It would be nice to be able to attach a hyperlink into a message or even include it within the project information within Building Connected.  For example, I was trying to conduct a virtual Pre-Bid meeting and wanted to send out a Microsoft Teams link and was not able to do so.  This is the same for any video conferencing services and would be nice to be able to send out meeting invites or any other link that would tie to a website or forum.  Hope this makes sense and hope to see this option in the future.   I see this text box even has an option to include a link, something like this would be beneficial.    Show More
