Allow for a dialog box which shows you the construction data of different floor types or different wall types next to each other. This way it is more interesting to select the right construction, and one can easily sort out double uses. By upgrading a detail section from 2016 to 2018, (vertical) labels won't be displayed in a view. By exporintg the view to pdf the labels are there!    The method we tried is to edit the family, recreate the text label and load it into project.   It would be nice if elements had a set of contextual parameters. A parameter for an element in a specific view. For example a parameter that tells if the element has a tag or not. ( or it lists the amount of tags a certain element has ). The benefit of this would be that filters can become a lot more dynamic. For example, I could have all my rebar be halftone as long as it's not tagged.     I know revit CAN do it (in its own way) like with the "Presentation" options for rebar. Show More

Hi   It would be great to have the warning messages explained.    I am doing a standard PFC150 Column with a PFC150 beam connected with an end plate. This worked in 2017 and now I get the error message "Connection creation failed". However I can see no reason why this will fail and even if I change the member size the error message remain the same.   So it would be great to have some way that we can view why a connection failed and suggestions on how to fix the connection   Thank you in advance Johannes   Show More

Following on from the external service servers for mechanical (IPipePlumbingFixtureFlowServer and the like), which work great and we're using them extensively now. We could do with the same or similar for Electrical systems.   For example we could do with external services for these calculations:   Calculating total loads Calculating diversity Calculating cable length Generating the circuit name   This would really help in providing company standard calculations within Revit. Currently we have to utilize updaters and other API features to update our own electrical parameters, instead of using the in-built Revit ones. Show More

It would be great to have the option to wrap the wall at specific points. For now the wall only cuts on the sides and not the head and we need to work around this either by annotation or creating ceilings in this location.    As seen in the extract below We would like the wall to warp as seen in capture 2 and not wrap in capture 1, which we cannot do without creating two different wall types.  Show More

Can Autodesk improve the view range option? because i need to adjust every time i have different sill height of a windows, for example in toilet window and other room windows, most of the time we cannot see the windows in the floor plans, and it is very confusing if you don't know how to adjust view range or even how to use the plan view.
