Issue with Geo-referenced coordinates and multiple named positions on Revit 2018

Currently in Revit 2018 if I load a CAD Link without defined geographic coordinates system (only numeric values), I can assign and edit Named Positions to Links as Revit was doing in previos versions; but as soon as I acquire shared position from a dwg with defined coordinates I cant modify or add named positions... the buttons get grayed and unavailable.

This is extremely undesired when working with residential complexes projects.

This issue was resolved on Revit 2018.3 and 2019.
