Today the piping module permit to do a lot of things but to create isometric drawings the only solution is to export as PCF export file with all the limitations that we can imagine and to create/generate the isometrics files in another dedicated software. All,   I would like to be able to access the style for a given route in Tube & Pipe for some programming purposes.  Currently it doesn't look like much of the API for Tube & Pipe is available, so I'd like that to happen or for the Active style of a Route to be exposed as a property (custom iProperty, even) that could be read and utilized to populate downstream operations, such as adding fasteners to flanged pipe connections.  Hopefully this makes sense, but please let me know and I can try to elaborate in the comments below.  Thanks for your consideration and have a most blessed day!   Peace, Pete Show More

When working in the sketch environment, it would be a good idea to highlight a linked dimension when editing or creating a dimension.  This would give a quick visual on which dimension you have selected to be an equal dimension.  If the dimension is in a consumed sketch, the sketch(es) and dimension(s) should be be shown as reference in a user defined color and transparency.  Something like Excel does when you create/edit a formula but better.   Samantha Show More

When I create a cable in a model state, when I try to create the drawing file, I get the error: "The top level assembly Model State must be set to "[Primary]" before a nailboard drawing can be made."   If I wanted the cable in the Primary Model State, I would have created it there. I love the ability of model states but some of these other tools need to be updated to meet that functionality of the model states.    So now I need to go into the primary model state. Access the model state table in Excel. Find the cable in the table. Change to Adaptive from Non-Adaptive in the Primary row and reverse it in the other model state the cable was created in.    This is cumbersome and not intuitive at all. Upgrade this.   Show More

Sometimes, in feature sketches, it is easier to simply delete all constraints and begin anew. Unfortunately, there currently is not an easy method of doing so. My suggestion is to simply add a "Delete All Constraints" right-click menu selection while in the sketcher environment. Huge time savings would result. Thank you. Show More

All,   Good afternoon!  I've been working with a couple different users lately who have had issues with components in assemblies NOT being able to move and one of the issues is that it is difficult to see when components are grounded.  One that was really perplexing was a pipe fitting, because the assembly browser icon didn't show the push pin on it.  Therefore, we had to move the cursor across a series of components before we discovered that one of them was grounded.  If the pipe fitting had been inside of a tank or enclosure, we probably would never have found it and determined it was grounded.     What I would like to see is a tool to show all grounded components, perhaps something similar to the graphical glyph feedback of the "Show Sick Constraints" tool.  That way, instead of having to comb through many rows of the assembly browser, we could quickly identify grounded components.  I don't have time to knock out any graphics, but if anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Hope all is well and have a most blessed day!   Peace, Pete Show More

Now that we have nesting for sheet metal how about one for structural steel.    Something that will give a cut list for lengths grouped to fit on a stick.   There are programs that you manually enter each cut length piece and then a list of available sticks / drops available.  They then give you a cut list.  So how about something automatic.  That asks for available lengths and then does the thinking for all of us that tend to miss entering data.  LOL Show More

As a Photoshop user the current ability to manipulate any imported images is less than one step above Microsoft Paint. We need the ability  to scale, move, flip, center and anchor images within our sketches without having to use 3 dimensions and two constraints to do so. Placing images and moving them around needs to be way simpler and we need the ability to leave the image visible without leaving the sketch visible or making the image a decal.   Also, please add the ability to place an image in a sketch at the assembly level...
