Details: Currently, Autodesk Forma for Construction does not provide a way to export and import Object Table configurations, including selected columns, property mappings, filters, sorting preferences, and customized table views within the Model Coordination module. For organizations managing multiple projects, coordinating large multidisciplinary teams, or implementing standardized BIM processes, the inability to reuse Object Table configurations creates unnecessary manual work and increases the risk of inconsistencies between projects. Proposed Enhancement: Provide functionality to export and import Object Table configurations, allowing users to save and reuse: Selected columns Property mappings Filters Sorting configurations Grouping settings Saved table views Custom object property displays The functionality could be available through a simple export/import file format (JSON, XML, or similar), enabling easy sharing between projects and teams. Business Impact: Standardize Model Coordination workflows across multiple projects. Reduce repetitive setup activities. Improve consistency of model reviews and coordination meetings. Facilitate corporate BIM governance and implementation of company standards. Accelerate onboarding of new projects and team members. Improve efficiency for owners, EPCs, engineering firms, and construction contractors. Use Case: Today, these configurations must be recreated manually for each project. The ability to export and import Object Table settings would allow companies to deploy standardized coordination templates across their entire project portfolio. Expected Result: Users should be able to save an Object Table configuration from one project and import it into another project, preserving all selected columns, property definitions, filters, sorting rules, and view settings.
