Currently we can compare the PDF drawings in BIM 360 of 2 different revisions to spot the changes. But we don’t have print or export option in PDF format. The lines used in our Revit model material patterns don't show up in the 3D model viewed upload. They aren't "custom images" that aren't linked, they're native elements.  We're using Consistent Color views - and so the base color is coming through, but not the line patterns with it. Why not? Requirement: Enable the ability to edit the description field with "create" level permission in the Docs files section.   Problem to Address: Currently, in Docs, editing permissions are required to complete the description field of a document. This broad level of permission for such a simple task presents a risk, as it grants the user the ability to rename, delete, or modify folder structures. Like it or not, contracts rely on hard copy information, unfortunately, this is also true for the majority of Sub-Contract site operatives, despite significant advances in mobile tech and the use of digital information in design and validation. We would be delighted if we were able to stamp or watermark drawings or docs during the approval process. This would mean any drawing /doc printed out from the platform or viewed on the platform by Sub-Contractors would have a prominent embedded indication of it's status, as opposed to reliance on users / site management cross checking the platform for validation of same, which can prove time consuming.   This would be an elegant and welcome solution at site level in the same way that embedded QR codes would be. User Experience across the board in our organisation would benefit from this seemingly straightforward enhancement. It would be great to see the Revit version beside the Project in the Account Admin.   If ACC is able to detect the version for an upgrade, and only one version can be used per project, then one would assume it should be easy to input this as an attribute beside the project name.    FYI, I understand projects can be created without a central file uploaded, but for this purpose, the column is blank.      Show More

It would be very useful for the users, if it would be possible to export multiple PDFs with markups from the Project Files folders in the same way you can do it from the Plans folder. At the moment it is only possible to download each file with markups separately. When selecting multiple PDFs the export option disappears.  Show More

Revit third-party apps do not have methods to get the file state of local ACCDocs/BIM 360 files and deterministically force the download of a current version from the cloud. With the lack of an Autodesk sanctioned solution, it is difficult to use ACCDocs/ BIM 360 for all collaboration needs. Please create an app or provide access to the PlanGrid app for those with only BIM Collaborate Pro licenses, or Autodesk Docs licenses. Currently, from what I can figure, as there is not a lot of documentation about this, you NEED to purchase an Autodesk Build license to access the data in an ACC project on the PlanGrid app. As the Technology Director of an Architecture firm I cannot have my team create a project in the ACC Unified projects because they cannot access their designs on mobile. We have started to use the BIM 360 app for CA capture and really like to ability to view and make issues and mark-ups using the app on site. We only purchase the BIM Collaborate Pro license in order to work on Cloud workshared projects.
