Yet another very imporant note that our team raised, comparing the BIM360 Docs to Aconex as a case study is that, in Aconex you could easliy drag and drop PNG images with a transparency layer as a signature or even a stamp.
This is a necessary feature when we want to implement end-to-end design review with a contractual proof for (god forbid) disputes. Similar to Titleblock features, on the Account Admin level one could create stamp templates such us:
- a company stamp
- approval stamp
- rejected stamp
- any other status etc.
This would ideally be png images with transparent background.
In a similar fashion from a company admin level or even a user account level a user with Approval authority could create his/her own signature as a drag n drop png file to put a signature on top of the stamp.
I understand that the activity log on the status changes records the time as well as the user name, but in some parts of the world and some forms of contracts this is not deemed as contractual proof.
