Currently if you want to backup/save closed Submittal items externally, you need to export report and download attachments separately. No way to action some bulk export of all if you need them for As-Built/ O&M Manual, which you need to upload to Clients repository/server etc. Very frustrating as takes lot of precious time for manual work. Please consider some solution for exporting an item alltogether with attachments (and its markups if required), the best in some bulk option.

A function to bulk edit many photos at once to add tags and location information is needed in ACC Build. Not very handy with hundreds of photos. Right now you have to click on each photo to open it and add the information once after another.

Now, when a daily log is published you can not modify it anymore. But not everybody is aware of this and are using the 'publish' button because they think it is a kind of 'Save Changes' button. When this happens it is too late, nobody can add labor items anymore. At least a project admin should be able to reopen a daily log.

The platform only allows you to receive and manage email notifications, it would be great if you had notifications by the PlanGrid App of tasks assigned to the user (Issues, Forms, Issues, Citations, RFI, Submittals and others).

As we see that in BIM 360, we have Account Admin Level ability to Apply a Project Folder Structure to a new project. We can also publish Checklists into a Project using Account Admin rights. We need similar functionality for the following at Account Admin Level: Publishing Review Workflows Publishing RFI Workflows Custom Attributes for Documents New Issue Types New Checklist Types

Autodesk needs to provide a way of packaging up the project by module when the project is complete. Not all projects will exploit the full capabilities of BIM 360 and remain in the cloud indefinitely. Many will not utilize Field and OPS. For us, as the engineer, it would mean our company absorbs the cost of maintaining the project in our BIM 360 environment indefinitely which is not feasible. There needs to be at least two ways of dealing with the project end of life or handover: An export project or module action that would package up all the data in some meaningful and useful way in an external file, or file set that can be stored on a server outside the cloud. A transfer project owner action. This would execute a transaction where ownership could be transferred from the appointed party to the appointing party where the appointed party created and managed the project in their environment. This could be accomplished by allowing the project to be cloned into another environment (copy) or… The names and ownership change and the project is not cloned in the cloud.

We really need a way to bulk edit asset information like: Delete a selection of assets Assign an attribute value to multiple assets Attach a document to multiple assets Attach a checklist template to a selection of assets

During construction we not only want to add labor items with comments for each subcontractor working on the site. We also want to save photos for the work performed by each subcontractor, this means that in BIM 360 for eack labor item we want to store different photos. Now this is not possible, you can only add photos for the daily log itself.

All modules and functionalities that utilize lists of falues (eg. custom fields in Issues or Assets, Document attributes etc.) would benefit from having a central place for storing and managing of these lists. Any changes or updates of existing lists could be deployed from one place.

BIM 360 docs should have an export feature so we can download all projects files at the end of a project. We are in many projects required to contractually to project at the end of a project. This should include all versions of each file so we have a complete package of project information to pass over to our client and other companies involved in the project. This was achievable in Buzzsaw!! so why not in BIM 360 Docs? Dave

There is a need to be able to quickly and easily append hyperlinks onto "equipment" within 360. There should be a way to export all equipment into a spreadsheet and then fill out the "attachment" column with links tab-delimited or similar. Then upload/import this dataset into the software. This could either be initially added within Navisworks on the back of each element or added in 360. Either way using said spreadsheet or similar. Currently, every equipment item needs a lot of time and effort investing in it.

It would be beneficial to be able to have an option for no delimiter between codes in the naming standard. This is being requested by government authorities and the lack of this option introduces a step during delivery and documentation.

I cannot stress how this is required. we dont have to change status but sometimes we need to edit the Issue type, assignee or whatever minor edit is required for a large number of Issues or RFIs etc.

Hi Autodesk Just like the option to create a report on issues in Insight/reports it would be great to generate a detailed report on checklists from field management. By the filter options it will give the management insight on what have been checked the last time periode, what check items gives issues and most of all admin have the option to export all checklists in on go.

We would like a feature that allows for us to replace a user and all their assigned works to a new or existing user within the same organisation, this wold cover the resignation or promotion of individuals. The administrative process to search and reassign individual items is time consuming and unnecessary. Change is normal and that needs to be part of this platform. Work share by category is okay, e.g. RFI's to person A, Issues to person B etc. otherwise a basic handover button is enough, when we try to remove a user. the former user thing does not work well when we are called to account.

Within our projects not all subcontractors need to use BIM 360 bit still we want to add them in the Daily Reports. Today this is not possible, you can only choose companies from a drop down list which is populated with company names from project members. You cannot type in a company name nor you can select company names you defined on account level.

If you try to transmit .dwg or .rvt files from Plans, you currently receive the error: Couldn't prepare downloadable ZIP file(s) for Transmittal # xx. An Autodesk representative explained to me that currently only PDFs are supported so .dwg & .rvt files can not be sent by transmittal. All file types supported in the Plans folder of BIM 360 should be transmittable.

Annyeonghaseyo (hi), It would be perfect if BIM 360 Field had a QR Code Module for managing and controlling all the generation of Barcodes used in the system. Also, this QR Code module would be able to register the entrance of material with the information of who is the operator, the quantity, the origin address, the truck, the invoice and the destination of all the materials in the field. After receive the material this module will also track all the movement of the material from the warehouse to the floors that it will be used. This module will also be able to generate QR Codes for the field workers so imagine that in their helmet they have a QR Code and when they will pick up material in the warehouse the responsible of the warehouse can scan the helmet and see if that guy, following the schedule, it is the responsible for doing that job, if not, he won't be able to pick up the material. A QR Code would also be included in every single report, checklist, issue, equipment, daily report and future tools of BIM 360 Field, so imagine that after doing a job in the Field all the checklist can have a field for scanning the QR Codes of the materials and the professions that did that job and this information can be send to the BIM Model, allowing the FM team in the future through a single QR Code scan identify and track all the things that happened during construction. In BIM 360 Field (classic) equipment lists could be generated from model metadata, giving a visual link to the area of the model the equipment list related to. In BIM 360 Assets (next gen) could we be provided with the ability to pin the asset form to elements in a drawing or model? This would help verify that all designed assets have an asset sheet associated with them. Graphical visualisation ∞> List
