In our releases, the curly code conversion on the drawings fails multiple times and the only way to fix is to release the drawing again and again and hope for the best. This is really time confusing and leads to very messy rev table with multiple minor releases which are only to fix translations.   There should be way for the project administrator/tenant admin to regenerate the dwg and pdf to trigger the translations of the code on a released item to get the correct output. When selecting "View Drawing" from the Three dots menu in a Change Request, it shows the most recently released drawing, not the most recent working version. If you're on a change order, most likely, you're there to review some changes, so presenting the most up-to-date versions of files and translations should be the default, not the exception.   Show More

When releasing an item with a drawing, any view on the drawing with "Display Style" set to "Shaded with Edges" or "Shaded" becomes a line drawing in the released PDF. (Solidworks). Is this due to limitations of the DWG to PDF conversion? If a drawing is saved or checked in, that PDF translation looks correct and has shading. Shading is important to us. We use shaded views on the most of our drawings. The shading helps identify surface texture specification, cable colors, and helps to visualize complex products. Please add support for shaded views so that the PDF translations look like the native drawing. We have been using the placeholder codes in our revision table and one issue we have seen is that if the revision description is longer than the size of the cell it overlaps onto the next columns instead of wrapping around. This applies to all fields that a placeholder code is used.  I have tested it with solidworks rev table format where the cell automatically wraps around and also with using separate notes with the word wrap setting turned on in sw properties for the note.    The other issue with sw formatting not getting applied to placeholder codes is that when using revision symbols with the rev table, the output does not have the text in the center and it get's offset beyond the extent of the symbol.      Show More
