Use Case. we have a large list of Manufacturer and the user would like to use the Keyboard to navigate to for example "Festo". the current behavior.   the Manufacturer list is a Dropdown list. the user can search the list by pressing "F" for festo. if the list of Manufactures starting with "F" is very long and the user would like to narrow the search by presses "E" after the "F" the list changes to the Manufacturer beginning with "E".   Enhancement. the Search of the Dropdown list should be dynamic. if a user starts searching in the list for the Manufacturer Festo. they could start by pressing "F" getting the List of all starting with "F" continuing to narrow down the results of the search by Pressing "E" getting the results of all Manufacturer starting with "FE"  . continuing by pressing "FES" until "FESTO" is selected or the user chooses this per mouse Click. Currently there is no way to search what parts in a project use a specific Supplier or Supplier P/N. It would be nice to get a list of parts which have specific Supplier or Supplier P/N. A way to generate that as a report would be even better. Show More

We have run into a roadblock where only Professional license users can see the Supplier Details and Supplier Documents in the Item-->Supplier Details pane (image attached). Viewer, Team, and Participant licenses can only see the list of Suppliers. Upchain Support have confirmed to us in a support ticket that this is the expected behavior. However, what we need is for our Supply Chain & Operations teams to be able to see Supplier Part Numbers, Notes, and Supplier Documents in the Details area. They don't need all of the features that a Professional license grants (e.g. they don't use CAD plugins and they don't need to edit BOMs or create new Item versions). Is there a way for them to access this information or can the UI be changed to allow visibility for all licenses? Currently can only see RFQ linked to through email, requesting functionality that allows suppliers to view all current RFQs that have been requested by customers per tenant logged into. Currently just see "Access Denied" unless going to a specific RFQ. Show More

We deal with a lot of customers & suppliers who send us CAD data and also access our CAD data regularly.   This requires us to assign a portal to customers & suppliers so that they can add CAD data & Documents which are viewable in Upchain and can be tracked as items. Similarly they should be able to access customer specific data through the portal.   Please add this feature since this requirement is very critical for us. Show More

the following idea would prevent errors in imported parts, Purchased Parts standard Parts etc. the Idea is as following. the admin would create a set of criteria for an Item. if this criteria is applicable. Users are not allowed to checkout this item. only admins. the criteria would be for example but not exclusive. a Prefix or a group of Prefix in the Item Number. a combination of Item type and item status. this idea would reduce errors and create more secure System for standard, Purchased Parts or Imported Parts.       Show More

I have added Categorization with attributes to our Tenant. it works perfect for searching specific parts.  So I have the category "bolts" with the following attributes: ISO / Special ISO 4017 ISO 4762 Size M3 M4 M5 Length 4mm 5mm 6mm 8mm Material 8.8 10.9 12.9 304 / A2 Adding this to the bolts we use is very helpful, but only when it is also visible in the web app, the BOM export and the excel Export. Why? because the exports are handed to our supplier if the categorization info is not available they have no information on the type of bolts to use. Adding this information to the item description is double the work and defeats the whole purpose of the categorization. Therefor I want to purpose to add the values added to Items through the categorization as selectable columns that also show in the Excel Export or Bom Export.
