Could we please have better visibility of suppliers against products in the Material Requirements view?   In an ideal workflow, using the Material Requirements interface to trigger purchase orders, the suppliers of each product would be listed along with the products. This would streamline the ability to filter and report before creating Purchase Orders. Currently we have over 2000 suppliers, it is nearly impossible to know which supplier is used for each required product without doing a separate search per product.   We can currently filter by supplier, but when you have more suppliers to choose from this becomes time consuming on its own.  Show More

We are using machines for projects that consume materials during production and have a storing capacity which we record as a warehouse location. (i.e. certain amount of material is moved to a machine from the shelf and we keep track of how much material is in each machine). It would be much easier if we could consume the materials from specific warehouse locations when entering the consumption on the tablet instead of having to go into the inventory movements each time and change the warehouse location from production to the warehouse location. It is an extra step that sometimes gets missed when we are busy and causes inventory numbers to be inaccurate.  Show More

By navigating to the Inventory page, selecting all products, and exporting to Excel, it’s possible to generate a highly detailed inventory report that shows quantities, locations, lot details, and more. This export is currently used by multiple departments for a variety of purposes.   I would like to see this export converted into an official report that appears on the Reports page, allowing it to be scheduled and automatically emailed to all relevant parties on a daily basis. This would ensure that all departments are working from the same data set each day, eliminating discrepancies caused by reports being manually pulled at different times.   Having a single, scheduled report would greatly improve cross-department collaboration and consistency. Please note that the existing Inventory Valuation report does not meet this need, as it does not break inventory out by lot or warehouse location and therefore lacks the level of detail provided by the current export. It would be so helpful if, directly from the inventory, we could see how many units are available and how many are already allocated to specific jobs—without needing to go through material requirements, filter by dates, and all that extra effort. It’d also be great if we could see exactly where items are stored on the shop floor right in the inventory system. For example, if all the shelves are labeled, like AA1 or BB2, I could easily allocate specific inventory items to their exact locations. after talking with the help desk, there currently is no way to run reports on your current "low" inventory items.  I know that emails are sent when inventory is low, but what happens when you miss them, or forget about it.  there needs to be a way you can do an audit based on low inventory leves, and compare it to your purchase orders.  I am very supprised this option is not available. When doing inventory count, it shows the product code. Please can we have the product name as well? we use the product code for our COSHH numbers, so having the product name on there too would help us see the name of the product and make it more identifiable etc.  Show More

If we perform an inventory count with a positive deviation, the receiving inventory movement won't have an associated cost, leading to incorrect inventory valuation. Expected would be to consider defined product unit cost or product average cost. Also, when performing the inventory count in the tablet there is a misleading "Is Empty" button available when selecting the product. However, this just jumps the tablet selection and does not create inventory movements to zero out the inventory in the selected warehouse. If I am doing an inventory move in the tablet menu, and select multiple items, there is no option to remove once before pressing confirm. For example, if I accidentally added a product, and wanted to remove it from the inventory move, I would have to either cancel and start the process again. Or, press confirm, and edit it in the back office afterwards. Please can we have the option to remove a product from an inventory move if it is not meant to be there/selected by mistake? Show More

It would be helpful for those who are more visual with product to be able to see a picture of the part rather than just the Part number.  I would suggest being able to create a label with a JPEG in the files showing the actual part.  most people know what they want but do not always remember the number associated with it. Currently, the Fusion system is extremely flexible and allows for material or product withdrawals even when there is no stock available in the warehouse. This generates negative balances that affect the accuracy of our inventory and distort the cost of goods sold. We request the implementation of a configuration (checkbox) at the warehouse or system level that allows us to: Display an immediate warning message indicating a shortage of parts before processing the movement. This would create a "lock/alert" type message to prevent the withdrawal of items that have not yet been received. Having this restriction would force us to keep the inventory up-to-date (recording receipts before issues) and would guarantee that the financial information is 100% accurate. Show More

While adding products to our inventory using inventory count, there is not currently a way to select a specific parameter. In our case, we use parameters to tell what material a product is made of since we have several options and unfortunately are now unable to accurately use the inventory count to inventory them.  Show More

Inventory movements used to include Shipping, Receiving, Consumption, and Produced, but now it’s only Shipping and Receiving. That change makes it harder to understand what actually happened when fixing inventory issues, because the extra movement types helped explain the cause and made the history clearer. Bringing all four options back would make corrections easier and keep our records more accurate. Show More

When our workers are performing an operation that includes consumptions, they occasionally have to edit consumptions. For example, if we are out of a certain raw material, we may adjust consume a different material instead. Currently they have to hand-key in the product code which leads to typos and errors. Example, a worker recently consumed 1 gallon of a chemical instead of one pair of outsoles. If we could scan a barcode in the consumptions drop-down we could avoid these errors and ensure the correct product is being consumed.  Show More

The current inventory valuation report provides the value of each item in inventory considering its actual cost for receiving and production. This values are complex to manage, as they require validation of all receiving movements, all production records and shippings. As a small machine shop that is growing one thing that we are running into is not always knowing where a certain cutting tool body might be when setting up for another job. For example:   We have different sizes of U Drills but we do not have multiple sizes of each. We use these often in our turning centers but sometimes in our mills as well. Sometimes when setting up a job we may not realize that this drill is actually in our mill turn machine when we need it for our lathe. It would be useful to be able to make a product (or some kind of item) and be able to assign its location to a machine (then back to a toolbox location when its done) and have the ability to see a list of what is assigned to a particular machine (from both shop floor license and admin). We also used standardized milling tool assemblies and this would work well for locating specialized tools such as boring heads etc for us. I can see having this ability to locate tooling to be useful for larger shops with many machines.   Show More

We use Fusion Operations as the source for our inventory tracking and we do an analysis of the inventory at the end of each month. We afterwards consider the cost of each product and multiply it to get the inventory value at each warehouse location. As of today, Fusion Operations doesn't allow us to have this granular level by using the API, since the inventory levels returned are detailed by lot, but not by warehouse location.
