There are occasions where a large assembly, 70+ components, is shown within one, multi-sheet drawing. With that many components the BOM usually takes up most of the drawing sheet, if shown on one page. We manage this by splitting the parts list between the sheets based upon what is ballooned on that sheet. That is done by sorting through each BOM, and either making a certain part visible or invisible within that particular BOM. That is true for each sheet. Since the drawing's BOM numbering is controlled through the model's BOM numbering, why couldn't there be an option for the BOM to only show what is ballooned on that sheet. That way, as balloons are added or removed from a certain sheet, the parts list for that sheet of the multi-sheet drawing would update itself accordingly. The way we currently manage multi-sheet BOMs can be a nightmare when there are revisions to that assembly.
