hello, there should be a possibility to enter superelevations for straight alignments. Sometimes we have alignments consisting only of two points (straight line, no curves). The only way to add superalevations in the superelevation table (Querneigungs-Editor) is to add a curve, so we could enter superelevations at specific stations. Thank you.

Requesting for a feature in the Vehicle Tracking library that would allow the user to sort vehicles by type regardless the country, standard or language. It would be useful to collect all the vehicles by type and browse for the most convenient one, instead of searching just by standards. Thanks in advance.

Hi Team, Ive been enjoying the use of corridor transitions since release, I'm a former 12d user and these remind me of the MTF Modifiers which are great. in 12d MTF Modifiers you can add comments and subgroups above each "transition" which is very helpful! One thing that would be handy is if we could create comments or subgroups for our corridor transitions, so if another user comes into the project later, they will know exactly what transition does what. Example: ROAD01 Kerb and Gutter transition to Flush Kerb *Subassembly transition parameters* Vehicle Crossing Transition *Subassembly transition parameters* ROAD02 2 Way to 1 Way road crossfall transition *Subassembly transition parameters* PUBLIC DOMAIN Parking Island Transition *Subassembly transition parameters* etc. Thanks!

I know people have posted this idea before, but it is becoming more important. The new Create Corridor window gives us a lot of power to map feature lines to assemblies. However once the corridor is created, adding new feature lines becomes a slow process. It would be great to get a similar window up add multiple baselines to an existing corridor, but absent that, the ability to merge corridors would be a good add. New Create Corridor Window:

Dimension line->End point anchor point-> Rail Turnout end dimension is pointing to CM, which is middle of turnout , Which shall be modified to point the JT_Main (end of triangle). Dimension line->End point anchor point-> Rail Turnout middle shall be modified to point the CM (Triangle start point). Which will enable user to mark dimension the entire length of Turnout. And, dimension distance not showing full length of Turnout. Length shown in below image 9.902 is no the full length of turnout, which 24.804 as per the DIMHOR Ref:-

We use one network to represent EXISTING storm structures and pipes. We routinely need to connect a proposed pipe network to one of the structures within the existing network. I already have a request to be able to create the existing network via the survey tools (https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/civil-3d-ideas/import-survey-create-pipe-network/idi-p/12493576). When using that feature, the existing network would be included in the survey file and attached via data shortcut to the proposed design file. I'm mainly talking about gravity networks but this would also be useful for pressure networks.

Hi Great functionality improvements implemented in SAC2023 with variables as drop down and support to update used variables if variable is renamed. This functionality have high impact on performance though. A pkt file that opens and updates in minutes in SAC pre 2023 can take half an hour to open or update in SAC2023. It would be great to be able to turn off the smart variables functionality and get the same or better performance as pre 2023. Sac is going in the wrong way concerning speed, the slowness rebuilding the xaml file after each command is a pain and is frustrating if you want to build something a bit complex. With the extra load added in sac 2023 makes the max size of a sa 10 times less then pre sac 2023. Best regards /Magnus Svensson

This would be great for creating low curbs for driveways, but it would be nice if you could set it up and copy it along the alignment/corridor.

Hi. Currently we can just apply a corridor template at the moment of creating a new corridor. In my case, I have created new corridors without a corridor template, and I have defined several corridor regions but now I want to copy corridor surface definitions from a particular corridor to the another corridor and I can´t. Please, improve "Corridor Template" to be available after creating a corridor.

When adding support for IFC 4.3, dear Autodesk, please aim a bit higher than you normally do with IFC implementation. In a perfect world I would be able to link an IFC file to Civil 3D, much like I can in Revit. When linking I would like the option to generate civil elements from the IFC file, eg. TIN surface, alignments and feature lines. These civil elements should be tied to the IFCGUID so that updating the link will also update the civil elements. Just imagine the possibilities for inter disciplinary collaboration this would open up, both within a single company but also between companys as many projects involve many stakeholders. This would allow a landscape architect to use a curbstone stake out line, coming from the road engineer in a different company, to produce their cut/fill adjustments to the terrain. And have it automatically update whenever the road engineer does minor adjusmtents. This is one small example, but the opportunities for more seamless workflows are endless. I would think that civil elements from a linked IFC model would be generated as some sort of DREF within the drawing. As many software platforms (and user routines) often disregards the need for preservation of the IFCGUID (eg. creating new elements with a Dynamo script), there would be a need for checking IFCGUIDS upon synchronization of the IFC, at least on elements that are used as targets or part of other civil elements in the drawing. For example a pop up window with all elments with missing/altered IFCGUID and the option to pick select replacements for them. Good implementation of the IFC file standard is crucial, especially to the Scandinavian market.

Please have the Volume Report (from the Analyze tab) output generate an .html instead of an .xml that opens in Microsoft Edge as Internet Explorer has been discontinued. This issue is affecting thousands of users and needs to be addressed. Thank you! There’s a hotfix for 2019 through 2022 that fixes the Volume Dashboard -> Cut/Fill Reports but not the Volume Reports.

Hi. If you have a structure and you rotate it (in plan view) and then you show that structure in a Section View, if the structure style (section tab) is set up as "Display as boundary" then that boundary does not update and you are seeing that structure wrong in the Section View. Solution is changing to "Display as solid", but not a way to update the boundary if that structure is rotated in plan view?

The setup: We have a pipe network with structures having the style display the structure's boundary both in plan and profile views. We have an alignment on top of the pipe network (or running parallel with it). We have the pipe network projected on the profile views. Existing result: The projection displays the width of the structure. Expected result: The projection displays the length of the structure, since we take the alignment (or pipe network) orientation as reference to define the length/width of structure. Furthermore, rotating the structure does not update the projection's dimensions in the profile view. The pipes' projection in the profile view does update based on the orientation of the alignment in report with the pipe (ovality of the projection of crossing pipe is dictated by the angle between pipe and alignment, and by the vertical exaggeration). Can we have the same setting (or coding, not sure what's the correct term) for the structures? Thank you!

When creating a corridor, I sometimes have a roadway that has a cross slope of 2% for a distance and then at some point, it needs to change to say 1%. This does not always happen at a curve! To transition between the two, I use the SUPERELVATION EDITOR but that tool expect to be used at curves. Half the time when I use it in this manner it crashes. I usually get it to work AFTER A FEW TRIES.

I am a little bit blind when I want to get an IFC file from a corridor. I don´t know how much will the file finally weigh. I have seen that an empty DWG just with 3D solids if we export them to an IFC file then is +60% the weight of the DWG file. I mean if the DWG file weighs 100 MB the result IFC file then it will be 160 MB. During the "Extract corridor to Solids" I woud like to see a panel where Civil 3D inform us about the result weigh of the solids 3D (and even if they are exported to IFC) An estimate before doing the extraction. Even an estimation of time to extract them. Civil 3D knows how many stations have been calculated during the process corridor. I understand that a solid 3D is heavier if this has more sides (Links)..

Currently the only way to convert pipe networks into IFC is to CONVERTTO3DSOLIDS. With this you lose tons of data form the network. It would be great to be able to export a pipe network as an IFC to integrate it into other BIM models.

You know how you have BATTORDER in ACAD/C3D? You *need* a tool like this for reordering the parameters in Subassembly Composer. Having to edit the .xaml and .atc files is *not* a solution, especially since the edited .pkt file cannot be opened in SAC again. And to leave the parameters in a randomized order is a huge time sink for the design teams. SAC has existed for many many years, this issue should have been resolved by now.

Civil 3D just support Beijing 54 and Xi'An 80 coordinate system for china user. However, Both the two are retired. The major national geography coordinate system of China is CGSS 2000 now. hope civil 3d can support it as earlier as possible. --------------------- Civil 3D 仅支持中国用户的北京 54 和西安 80 坐标系，但这俩都已经退役了。中国目前主要的国家地理坐标系是CGSS 2000。希望Civil 3d能早日支持CGCS2000。
