It's been said many times on this forum and by many people that there are numerous tools in Build that need to be made available to Docs for design use. This includes Forms.   When you think about Forms in the build process you understand that they are used for Quality and Safety records. That is, a Form is a record of activities or compliance to ensure that onsite procedures are done correctly.   The same applies to the design stages of a project that are performed in Docs, Design Collaboration, or even Model Coordination. The design process requires that client and regulatory requirements are met, and therefore it needs a way to record it. Docs goes some way towards this with Reviews. But that only shows that a review was performed. It does not capture the requirements against which the review was measured.   And this is why we really need Forms to be integrated into Docs. We need the ability to capture and track any and all design requirements, and preferably done so against a Review. Show More

When exporting forms from ACC, the header of the form just says (form details) and the title is simply the form template name.   Ideally, when exporting the forms, the title page would have KEY information displayed. It would be beneficial to implement a categorization system for forms in Build. Currently, all our forms, including WIR, MIR, Safety Reports, etc., are managed in a single location with automatic ID numbering.   My suggestion is to introduce a numbering attribute similar to the one used for submittals. This would allow us to assign unique identifiers such as WIR-01, MIR-01, etc., making organization more intuitive. Alternatively, providing the option to categorize forms by template would offer greater flexibility. Form (Field Checklist) to be linked with 3D model, can achieve the work done in the model. Once the Form is completed which is linked to the 3D model, automatically it will reflect in the model as work done/completed in the model itself for that specific activity to which Form/Checklist is initiated & linked to the 3D model, which will also be helpful for progress tracking.
