Within Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM 360 platforms, families (.RFA) are not visible in some type of preview. It would be very useful to have the ability to preview families directly. When you have a large folder structure and long name, on the web p age the file name is usually not fully visible. Currently, you can only Collapse the left panel to create more space, but sometimes this is also not enough. It would be nice to create a horizontal slider at the bottom to help with this issue. I'd like it to be possible to display the parts (with Revit information) directly in the ACC online viewer. I don't understand why this function isn't already implemented.   Often customers don't have a Revit license, and the only way to view (and approve) the project is via the online viewer.   Show More

It would be wonderful to be able to toggle between Model Browser and Clashes while running a clash detection on ACC without the view resetting to top down every time.    If you have a cut plane active, and orbit to a location where you see a clash and aren't 100% sure what the other ghosted elements are, switching to the model browser view clarifies that because it shows all elements, not just clash elements. When returning to the Clashes, the view completely resets (the cut plane stays) to top down and original rotation, and you have to navigate back to where that clash occurs. When using section view in the model coordination, it would be very convenient if you could move the section plane back and forth by scrolling the mouse wheel. Using and clicking the intended arrow each time you want to move the plane is very cumbersome and slows down the workflow. This feature is standard in many other CDE-platforms already and would also enhance the experience of ACC. Show More

I sort through a lot of data on ACC, especially in the Forms and Files. Frequently I need to change the width of the description column so I can see what I'm working with. Utilizing the drag and drop feature works, but it is incredibly easy to accidentally select the column, causing the data to be resorted.. and the column width to be reset! I do this multiple times a day every day. Please enable a feature to where once the column widths are adjusted, they stay, even when re-sorting the data via different columns and parameters. This would save me hundreds of hours every year, and is already in place in other data management software such as Excel, so maybe there is already existing code for this type of feature tweak. Currently in the Model Coordination module within the Views tab, the list of Views that appear are in order of when they were created. It would be beneficial to be able to organize this Views list based on personal preference. That way you are able to keep all Views associated with a building close to each other or have them in alphabetical order or order of install, etc.    Right now the only way to put them in a preferred order is to create them in that order, but if the order were to change at any point all (or a model needs removed/recreated) models would have to be deleted and recreated in the new order, which is cumbersome.    Similar to moving issue fields within an issue type it would be awesome to be able to move Views within the View tab. This is a request for an ongoing and very old usability problem with coordination issues.   The below image is from Model Coordination, where an Issue is displayed. To move to the next/previous issue you must use the back button and then open another Issue. This process is painfully slow.   The below image is from Navisworks using the Coordination Issues add-in. It is exactly the same, but it has previous/next buttons so we can move rapidly through the issues. When creating issues in the model coordination space, if you want to check the properties of an existing issue by clicking on an issue tag, you will be taken directly to the view of that issue.  We need to be able to decide whether we want that. For example, double-click to go to the view and single-click to open the issue properties. And have the ability to go to the previous view. Show More

When you click on an issue, and the issue view is opened (the view that was used to create the issue) and that view has a section applied. When you click on an issue, the section is removed. Currently, I need to have three browser tabs open when running a meeting: one to check the issue number, the second to navigate to the issue and the third to check the properties of an element! It's extremely counterproductive. We should have a toggle in the navigation bar to switch between the issue view and "normal" navigation, so when discussing an issue, we can check the element's properties or do measurements without having to open another view that will have the same section applied. Currently, RCP files can only be viewed if uploaded as an RCP file in ACC folder, But when RCP file is appended to Navisworks NWD file and upload to ACC, then we are opening NWD file in ACC browser we are not able to view point cloud file in browser.   I would like to formally request this as new feature for future development Show More

On the ACC Projects landing page, please let me see more than 25 projects at a time. Better yet, don't even use pages. Just let it be a scrolling list that shows all your projects at once. Or at the VERY least, let me choose how many projects I see per page. Like, 100 or 200 or something. I realize that once I select a project and go into Docs, there is a dropdown list that you can scroll through ALL your projects without flipping through pages... but why does the landing page not also function like this?  - annoyed - 😑 Show More
