For the assignment of permissions and also for other modules (e.g. workflows), it would be very useful to link the role and the company. For example with an AND filter. We currently create the following in complex projects where we use ACC workflows for approvals or where some tasks should not be seen by certain roles (competitors): “Company1 | Foreman”, ‘Company1 | Fitter’, ”Company1 | Project manager” “Company2 | Foreman”, ‘Company2 | Fitter’, ”Company2 | Project manager” In projects with over 150 users and 20 companies, this is almost impossible to handle and the automations can no longer be used efficiently. If there was a way to assign the authorizations or tasks as follows, that would be a huge relief. “Company1” AND ‘Fitter’ or ‘Company2’ AND ”Foreman and project manager” This would also make it easier to create the workflows in the templates and use them without post-processing and each user would only have one role (unless they really have several roles in the project) and one company. Now many of our users have up to 8 roles per trade, so that, for example, a project manager sees or is notified of the fitter's tasks, but a fitter does not see the project manager's tasks. Existing members in both the Account Members list and the Project Members list can only be updated one member at a time. This is very time consuming when manually updating a large number of members on either member lists. Bulk editing member details is already possible when adding new members to a project. While developing some in house solutions for project closeouts in ACC, I ran into a fairly large roadblock. There doesn't seem to be a way to PATCH a project like there is in BIM360 from the API (the only PATCH there is for ACC is for uploading a project image). The goal being, have the ability to change project status from active to archived via the API.    Now this isn't a deal breaker as there are some roundabout ways to get similar results, however I find it strange that the option to change project information post creation doesn't exist in the ACC API, minus the ability to upload an image.   It would be great to have the ability to update/change certain project properties post creation via the API, as this functionality seems to be available in the older BIM360 platform. The ACC project Activity log is a lifesaver for BIM Managers. However one year worth of records is not enough to capture the activities in a project. A project may be paused for a year and then all the records will be lost. We need a project lifetime log without timeframe. Also, the searching tool is archaic and restrictive. Searching events within a month data range takes longer. More flexibility is needed, longer range of time or full view of all records would help.   Show More

It’s frustrating that Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) accounts hosted on APAC servers lack the capability to add project logos—a feature that is natively supported in BIM360 and on ACC projects hosted in other regions, such as Europe and the Americas. This limitation forces users to rely on workarounds, which are not only inefficient but also inconsistent with Autodesk's promise of streamlined project management. It’s disappointing to see ACC missing basic functionality that BIM360 has offered for years, especially given that ACC is marketed as a superior platform. Adding this feature would significantly improve branding, professionalism, and consistency across projects for APAC users. Our office executes dozens of projects for several clients every year. It would be very helpful to segregate the projects by client, and even by site for those clients. In trying to ensure archiving is completed, it would be great to be able to have an alert of some sort when a project has not been accessed in a certain time frame.  Using the data connector, you can export 'last_sign_in' data, but this is ONLY for BIM360, and not for ACC. Show More

Can we please add the ability to delete and archive projects in ACC? Currently, it is a nightmare to find the archive feature and there isn't an option to Delete any projects.   In some cases, we setup test/training projects and would like the ability to remove those from our project list. One of the good features of ACC/Docs is that you can create a new project using a project template that contains multiple folders, files, members, companies, roles and settings. This saves a lot of time setting up new projects. However, it is very easy to accidently forget to select a template when creating a project. In this situation you either have to upload the contents of a template structure manually from an alternative source (and the only way to do this is via the clunky ADC) or manually via the web interface one folder at a time, which is very time consuming in our case, or archive the project in ACC (remember you can't delete projects in ACC, even if you are an account admin) and then recreate the project, but this time remembering to select the project template when doing so. It would be very useful if a project template could be assigned and populate the newly created blank project after that blank project has been created. Show More
