Suggested changes are:   1. Make the top section of the history tree "dockable" so that the controls within are easily accessible in larger .IPTs without having to waste time continually scrolling to the top of the list to access. 2. Move the "View" rollout directly below the related "Model States" rollout. These are very often accessed in tandem and when the "Blocks" and/or "Solid Bodies" rollout is expanded, it can separate them by quite a bit. In my opinion, CAD systems MUST follow new methods of technology production. Nowadays is normal to work by laser cutting of tubes, profiles or bars. This seems like a no-brainer, but with Model State workflows and the ability to have multiple solid bodies within a single part file it sure would be extremely helpful to allow individual solid bodies within a single part file to have their own iProperties. There a plenty of times that a single part workflow, consisting of multiple solid bodies and Model States, is so much easier than an assembly with multiple files.    However, unless those solid bodies can have their own iProperties and the Parts List will recognize "Solid Bodies", it's impossible to make this workflow work 100%   PPLLEEAASSEE, I beg you, make this happen!   Show More

Transfer PMI/MBD information, especially tolerances, created in the iFeature to the model. Since Inventor version 2022.5, it is possible to define tolerances for iFeatures in the model. The tolerances specified in the iFeature should be able to be automatically transferred to the model.   Show More

Add to Finish feature the ability to change appearance orientation in order to rotate a textured appearance with a precise angle value.   The goal is to set the desired orientation to a satin texture for exemple when applied through the Finish feature. Show More

The program shall always(!) show the expected working/loading time in seconds and with a linear progress bar. Today, when opening an assembly, one sometimes can see some green progress bars but they have no further information because they disapear and restart constantly. Other functions as for example "Save" shows nothing at all and one doesn't even know if the computer is frozen or just working. Either way one is constantly loosing time by this lack of information. Hi! There are several software programs, including Inventor direct competitor (SolidWorks), which has always made better use of the arrow keys on the keyboard than any Autodesk software. Regardless of the use that each person gives to Inventor, it is imperative to have a model rotation system in which it is possible to rotate it in a parameterized way. For example, each touch of the Left arrow rotates the model 15º from the model origin or model gravity center. Another example, SHIFT+Left Arrow key rotates the model 90º. It's time for Inventor to start catching up. If you think the PAN function is a very relevant function, at least give users the option to choose what they want to do with the keyboard arrow keys.   Please do this for yesterday, you are already thousands of light years behind.   Best regards, André Show More

Hi, Could be great to know when you're working on the edit factory scope meaning when you are making edits on all model states or when you are working on one of them. I see myself time and time again making the same mistake by not toggling on edit factory scope and having to supress all the features I did.   This could be more visual like adding an red rectangle when factory scope is enabled...maybe an idea to add or does this already exist?   Thanks.
