ON/OFF edit factory scope visualisation in workspace (model state)

Hi,

Could be great to know when you're working on the edit factory scope meaning when you are making edits on all model states or when you are working on one of them. I see myself time and time again making the same mistake by not toggling on edit factory scope and having to supress all the features I did.

This could be more visual like adding an red rectangle when factory scope is enabled...maybe an idea to add or does this already exist?

Thanks.

Yes! This needs to happen. Having a tiny pencil as an indicator of the editing state is extremely insufficient. Especially because the tree is collapsable. A red rectangle around the screen is exactly what I was thinking too.

I like this idea.  Or maybe change the background color of the feature tree / parts tree to reflect the state of "Edit Scope".  Something visually obvious to let us know the scope of our actions.

I just made some changes to a part without realising that I had member scope on. Luckily I noticed and was able to correct everything.

Like @Bob-SprMtTech suggested, I was also thinking a that a background colour change or something very obvious would be a great way to indicate which mode you're in.
