I am a newer user to Inventor HSM Pro, but one of the most glaring time-wasters for us is re-opening an operation to edit a feed, speed, tool number, etc and having to regenerate the tool path. As you can imagine, this is especially annoying on more complex geometries that take longer to generate. There is also a trickle down effect on subsequent rest-machining operations that then have to be regenerated as well. If the software could differentiate a tool geometry change, step-over change, cut area selection change, etc. from a tool number assignment, feed/speed override, switching from flood coolant to thru-spindle, etc., that would be a great improvement. Thanks for considering!
