Custom tip orientation Lathe.

There are a lot of tools that cannot be setup correctly with the limited letter options available for tool orientation in the lathe tool setup dialog. For example I have a VBMT tool holder with the tip rotated 45°, there's no way to set this up with the limited options. This is in Fusion don't know if you have more options with HSM.

YES! This.. This is one of the primary things standing in the way of good support for tons of more tools, and a good deal more equipment (b-axis lathes included)

Yes this would be good to allow the proper definition of turning tools.  @Rob_Lockwood  I am not following you on how this would have any additional benefit for b axis lathes.  The insert angle in relation to the tool holder needs to be set correctly for holder collision to be accurate.   Wouldn't he b axis angle come from the tool orientation in the operation?

I made a post about being careful using tool orientation if you use tip tangent as the tangent point doesn't reorient to match the tool orientation. Might help with this problem

@Lonnie.CadyAnd the tool orientation in the operation is not available in all operations.(See Facing for example.)

I've asked for that as well but that doesn't seem to be anywhere near on the list.

Be nice if it still worked in Fusion! It worked in beta mode for months then brought out of beta and they broke it
