Measure from a toolpath line or point

Would like to have the ability to measure from a toolpath point or line. e.g. how close does the toolpath actually come to a wall or floor.

That would be great, and I'll add, make possible to measure from the tool to the part in simulation mode (touch tool, touch a wall on part, get the minimum distance between the 2).

This is a nice idea!  In the meantime.  I am sure you are aware of the ability to see the tool location at any point.

I am, thank you. This would come in handy during mold machining to ensure that the tool/holder has enough clearance. I am also aware of the Tool/holder collision checking, but it would be a nice way to double-check.

I am guessing that the USEFUL feature did not grab enough traction to be implemented 3 yrs after?
