Hello AutoDesk Team and or especially Moldflow and Simulation Teams (should I do a crosspost?),   Do you ever considered dropping SimStudio and release Fusion 360 as a companion tool for Simulation users?   This is beneficial in many ways:   - Maintaining ONE Tool - Fusion is a "better starter drug" for IV than SimStudio (maybe) at least when you need tooldesigns later... - Fusion is an enhancement over SimStudio - sure, but what if released as an "filler" when the developmentcycle was not so ....(rich of enhancements) - The other tools in Fusion are maybe at extra cost (advanced FEM, ...) so this is a door opener for extra money... - At least some more parametrics than in SimStudio - Better meshediting (Using Moldflow results as meshes when CAD export of warped mesh struggles (which it still does) - More and Frequent updates for Sim-Users (hey when was the last REAL update in SimStudio?)   Marketing wise it is the clear solution to me. Technically it makes much more sense than SimStudio - especially because of the better maintance.   I'm curious about your opinion (other users and Autodesk of course)   Kind regards Harald Götz Show More

    if i want to change the thickness of a area with variable thickness (rips or areas with draft angle)  it is quite time consuming to change single elements to get a nice "new" thickness distribution.   a tool wich adds a certain amount to the existing thickness would be apreciated.   the tool just has to add this value to each selected element.     Show More

Import cad model as a wire frame model option    1. It helps a lot when we import bigger tool data with cooling channels, if they are converted in wireframe. It will be easy to extract or generate curves for cooling channels    2. Right now, We use similar options available  in CAD tools and use them as curves. But all the CAD tools doesn't have such option.   3. Even if option provided  to convert surface edges to curves, also will be helpful.   4. Even if option provided  to create a centre line for cylindrical features is also be helpful to generate cooling channels  Show More

I would like to have the Mesh Diagnostics for "Mold Surface temperature" in Part element properties.   For considering the mold temperature variation without cooling anaysis, you will set several temperature across the part. But if you want to checkout where you have set and what value you have set, what you can do is to display each property dialog again, or run the analysis and see temperature results. both of them takes time.   So I want this function. Synergy have the simular function for DD"Thickness" so I sure you can do it.   Adding to that forget about displaying Mold Surface Temperature "profiles" .At least If you can see the first value in the profile,  I can check where I have set or not.   Thank you.          Show More
