Layers Multiple Select

Layers Multiple Select

Hi,

There should be an option to select multiple layers at a time, either by pressing "ctrl+different layers" . This will be helpful, if you import assembly with multiple components into Moldflow.

I'm not sure its availability in Moldlfow 2016. Please let me know,  if there is any other way to do it.

Hello Dinesh,

there is some info in

Moldflow 2016 - Refined User Interface

that show how Layer Management has been enhanced. (From 0.46s)

Have a look, if that could help.

Berndt

Hi Berndt,

 Thanks for replying back !!

From the video, i understand you can assign multiple layers to a single folder. That will surely reduce time spent during pre & post processing .

But to assign multiple layers to a single folder, do i need to select individual the layers and assign them ??

If  yes, it will be helpful to have multiple layers select option (Maybe i'm lazy). Because I face this difficulty now, with a part which has around 60 core pins in place.

Hi Denish,

in 2016 you can select "ctrl+layer" within a layer folder, and then move to another folder.

Could work for your 60 core pins, I think.

The limitation: to select "ctrl+layer" in different layer folders, and then move collection to another layer folder.
