Today it is mainly done by two scripts and a material dialog.   The scripts distributes and show the properties - but it takes rather long and is a process prone to faults. I have sometimes difficulties to show the properties after calculation (before it is show automatically).   This should be "hardwired" in the software and maybe based on compiled code and not interpreted code to enhance speed and reusability.   It should also be possible to export these properties (mainly UD - tapes or organo sheets I assume) to FEM. Not sure if that makes sense, because in FEM you have rebar elements to model this stuff.   Maybe - long term - moldflow could use these elemnts , too. And can exchange these with FEM, wheter the one implemented FEM in Moldflow, which would be - also in the long run - Nei Nastran anyway?   Best regards Harald Show More
