The naming of the deflection results is currently inconsistent and can lead to confusion or incorrect comparisons: Example: Comparison of two simulations Simulation WITH constraints: The result “Deflection, all effects: Deflection” includes the constraints. To view the unconstrained result, “Deflection, all effects (unconstrained): Deflection” must be selected. Simulation WITHOUT constraints: The result “Deflection, all effects: Deflection” does not include constraints. Issue: The same result name (“Deflection, all effects: Deflection”) can therefore refer to different boundary conditions depending on the simulation setup. As a result, comparing the two simulations (from the example above) using the lock plot will compare constrained and unconstrained deflection results — simply because they share the same name. Improved naming proposal: “Deflection, all effects: Deflection” → always displays the unconstrained result “Deflection, all effects (constrained): Deflection” → used for results with constraints This naming convention should be applied consistently to all deflection results.
