I appreciate Autodesk for improvising the selection tools like nodes/triangles on a planar/same edge/same surface. This was really a good move which saved a lot of time in selecting the features. Now I need something extra. Following are two different ways I did the node selection for the same path plot. Method A: More a kind of automatic, Easy, Less time required, may lead to misinterpretations, X axis not very realistic compared to the circumference. Method B: good visualization, realistic, X axis value is close to the circumference or the actual length of the features, but more time consuming. what I need: 1. I will isolate the nodes on the desired path plot to a different layer. ( picture attached - node isolation) 2. I will select the starting point (and may be next 3-4 continuous nodes) 3. Moldflow should have a tool to select all other nodes in such a way that the path line will continue in a realistic way. (may be an algorithm should run, like the next node to be selected should be the nearest node to the current selected node "within the active visible layer". when you isolate the nodes to a new layer, this way of selection won't be that difficult). Thus we will get a result like Method B within seconds. -PK
