This idea was inspired by this post. It would be nice to have an option for the animated water of a river to flow in the direction the river was sketched. Or, if the river was brought in auto-magically by Model Builder, have a toggle for the water to follow the path of the river and/or reverse it. As opposed to having it flow sideways on a hill like in the screencast below.

We now have traffic simulation animation, but we haven't capability to render a video with this animation. I propose to make a Decoration Animation on roads or sidewalks, animation paths etc.

Taking a page from the Dynamo Studio folks, it would be a great idea if the community page for AIW had a list of useful scripts that can be used or loaded into AIW. For example, if someone wrote a script for creating a full sun/shadow analysis that allowed you to see the time of day and display a heat map of sun hours on the model. Then everyone using AIW can have access to download and load into their product to maximize the analytical aspects of the data in the model.

the nwd files are much easier to manage because of size. I would recommend if you already have an IFC import or OBJ you can also do a NWD so We could make a federated model in Navisworks and then import it to Infraworks.

This is something which was asked to me recently by some master planners. I wasn't able to give them an easy answer: Can road name labels be created within Infraworks 360? I know there are work-arounds to create the text in Civil 3D or AutoCAD and then import it in, this is great for people who use AutoCAD and Civil 3D but for people like planners who don't necessarily have those tools at their disposal having the ability to create road names either manually or from GIS data would really appeal to them. Can this be explored for future development?

When importing a 2D Drawing with the new import provider, it does not take into account the georeference nor the scale from the original map or civil drawing. Feels strange to scale a perfectly georeferenced dwg. Can the georeference be taken or read from the civil or map drawing?

New type of the alignment: paths (now existing roads and rails). Difference: when this type of alignment cross a design road , no intersection object is created. Instead, "zebra" and "red carpet" appears, or something similar also defined by the style. Of course, set of the styles (or components) for this type of "road" contains various types of the bike and sidewalk textures for the "lanes", curbs, small gutters or typical drainage elements.

To best present an Infraworks-project to clients we would like the Oculus Rift to be supported. Currently, the only way to show Infraworks in stereoscopic view seem to be either using one of the developers kits from Oculus, that no longer seem to be sold, or look for third party solutions, like for instance Unity. Using a third party solutions is time consuming and functionality in Infraworks is potentially lost. For a reliable experience and full function please consider supporting the retail-version of Oculus Rift or other available VR-solutions.

My idea is, open way to elaborate and to use the "Infrastructure parts" to design vertical Signs. We have difficult to implementation BIM for sign. If we had a way of loading this signage database for each project and we could have the ability to indicate the variation of the height of your pole with the slope of the terrain. I was draw some images to show this difficulties

It is necessary to add a tool to create a road tunnel "Component Roads". "Component Roads" very convenient. But without a road of "tunnel" can not always be applied.

Maybe I missed it, but, if the only way to rename a proposal is to duplicate and give it a new name, then delete the old, could we get the ability to rename the proposals? Ideally, this will flow through and rename the shared web versions too. I assume this is why it doesn't already do this. Thanks,

The ability to remove models from the Home page is badly needed - not sure why it was thought a good idea to have a delete option but no remove? I rarely want to delete the models but I do want to remove them as the home page gets too cluttered
