Sidewalks & Bike Paths

New type of the alignment: paths (now existing roads and rails).

Difference: when this type of alignment cross a design road , no intersection object is created. Instead, "zebra" and "red carpet" appears, or something similar also defined by the style. Of course, set of the styles (or components) for this type of "road" contains various types of the bike and sidewalk textures for the "lanes", curbs, small gutters or typical drainage elements.

Agree, path alignments must "react" only with path alignments (simple small radii on curb returns) , only traffic markups choosen from style set appears on the roads.

If you are going to include this feature you may as well go the distance and inlude the ramp types and interfaces with roads and coverages etc.

This would provide a vital link for the pedestrian requirements on projects.

A good feature would be a built in limiter which shows you whether a solution is possible (based on pedestrian standards) before you commit.
