In the Desktop Connector when Selecting Projects, you have a dialog box to select up to 40 projects. - Please add a Search or Filter function to search through projects more easily (red in screenshot). The more companies are going to use ACC and Desktop Connector, the more projects you will have to choose from, some people may have up to 100-1000 projects under their account. - In the tab 'My Selections' (orange in screenshot), have the option to select/deselect multiple projects at the same time, currently you have to select one at a time. We need to be able to restrict access to Sheets. If possible, turn them off entirely for a given member. Certain Project members do not need to see all Sheets within a project, such as Vendors, Subs, Consultants. Files offers more flexibility on who can see content, we need that in the Sheets module. In present times the employee turnover is huge, and administration/keeping track of all projects and users takes more and more time. In general, we need much better permission controls at an account level. Most importantly, we need to prevent members from outside of our organization being accidentally given project administrator rights. Currently, project administrators can just make anyone invited to the project a project administrator as well. We should be able to control, at an account level, who can be given project administrator rights.   It would be great to further this control down to specific permissions to folders in our Docs template as well. For example, we could create a folder that is for internal use only that anyone outside our company cannot be giving access to accidentally by a project administrator. It needs to be controlled at an account level.    The first option seems to be the easiest lift, and project templates could be tailored enough to accomplish the control you need. However until then, we are very vulnerable to human error.  Show More

It should be possible to delete projects or files totally from ACC.  This is crucial for some projects. Owners and/or governments demands everything regarding the project and or files permanently deleted after handover of the project. Due to lack of this possibility ACC can't be used for these type of projects. And due to GDPR you may break the law if you upload something with personal information, and no way to fix it.  It could be an option for a few selected Account Admins and an extra override password to confirm deleting.  Show More

It's a little thing, but it'd be SO easy to save thousands of users a minute or two.  Either send along a calendar invite that folks can click on, or an option to sign up for invitations instead of emails, or even a public shared outlook calendar so that folks can more easily add than try to figure out what time zone they need to change their appointment to.  Show More

Currently only Project Admins can validate File Names when the File Naming is enforced on teams folders.    Those with Manage permissions on the folder should also be able to validate their team's file names.   Otherwise the Project Admin will be overwhelmed.  Show More

Can we please add the ability to delete and archive projects in ACC? Currently, it is a nightmare to find the archive feature and there isn't an option to Delete any projects.   In some cases, we setup test/training projects and would like the ability to remove those from our project list. A recurring question from several projects is how to address an unforeseen absence of the initiator during approval workflow process. An administrator can overrule the initiating of second or next round when a document is returned OR the other designer can start a new workflow. Both are unwanted workarounds, because we want to save on the time of the admin AND keep tractability of the comments in the affected workflow(s).  Therefore, the request to add the ability to reassign the initiator role for the approval workflow once by the administrator. This reassignment can be logged in tracking of history of workflow then. Show More

As of today there is a great tool in Autodesk Docs to search for Files using filter. Those filters can be saved as "Saved search" and also share with others project members. However we have to recreate those filter for every new project. It would be really helpful either to import/export those "Saved Search" list or to get them include in Project Template. In our case, we use naming convention but we use this tool to search for files having a combination of naming convention attributes. So, this list might be quite long and it's really cumbersome to recreate it for each new project (the naming convention is the same for any project). It would also be very nice to add a search bar for the "Saved search" list because it's not easy to find the proper item if the list is too long (> 50 saved search). Show More

I had to make a Markup Formula rule where a OH& Fee charge was only relevant to budget items NOT starting with 01. I could not do this and had to make 17 rules to include all of the potential budget item starting digits that we not 01.    Can we add a 'Does not start with' qualifier to that list? or some other way to un-include items from a list?    I could not use does not contain because many of the codes include 01 somewhere else in their 6 digits.  Show More
