Moldflow has been so far so good in determining gate locations for the part. But we come across many customers who will primarily ask, whether it will also suggest what type of gate should be used? We tell no, and that might be a drawback as of now, but if it does suggest, that would be great.

hello, i could be interesting to have the possibility, for all menus that may use, to import xls file or csv. For example, when adding a matrix viscosity law or for thermal properties. It is the same for settings for solver parameters (intervalle at specified times). Best regards Cédric

hi at the moment its not transparent how much data is up or downloaded. it is not clear how long the download of results is lasting, and how much is left or something is downloading at all. at the moment i am waiting for results since 2h and i dont know if something is happening at all a possibility to restart the result download would be appreciated as well.

i am sure most of the user modify their intermediate results table. at the moment we have to redefine this with every installation. or when a sdy has bad intermediate results we have to define it again by hand. a import possibility would be useful.

Please consider Hybrid meshing (i.e.: 3 D Hot runner with midplane or dual domain part meshes). Please bear in mind that some special hot runner nozzles cannot be modeled with Beam elements. Therefore a solver technique with 3D hot runner combined with midplane or dual domain part meshes would be valuable.

After the warp analysis a small deformation analysis for setting the fixation points to 0 would be nice. This would be a great benefit because the alternative is to rerun the whole study with general constraints …..

Hi all, I wonder if the Moldflow can simulate this problem. I'm studying the thin-film plastic deformation under the compression moulding. I want to see how it buckles and trap the air in the socket between the buckled section and then the pressure that presses everything together and remove the air in the space. Is it possible to simulate in COMSOL? This is the deformation shape of the actual film with inadequate pressure at the compression stage. It is unsatisfied cross section.

please make customization for intermediate results in 3D same as in DD. now in 3D the intermediate results can be changed to constant intervalls or specified times for the complete flow cycle. i would like to change the intermediate results in filling phase und packing phase seperately i would like to change the filling phase to "constant intervalls" and the packing phase to "specified times" like it is possible in DD.

Team, When user is working on machine mode, could not able add the back pressure (typically used in machine setting) details in simulation. presently moldflow shows the limitation to add this parameter, it will have a influence on melt temperature and pressure. so kindly look this parameter and it will improve the accuracy of moldflow results. When running a DOE the log files in the results and the CSV files that are generated are shown in SI units. It would be nice to have these values in the same units that we are working with in the the study. For example the study is is using millimeters ,°C ,tonnes of clamp force etc. The results in the log and the CSV file are in meters,°K and Newtons. Best Regards Adam
