I wonder if the Moldflow can simulate this problem. I'm studying the thin-film plastic deformation under the compression moulding. I want to see how it buckles and trap the air in the socket between the buckled section and then the pressure that presses everything together and remove the air in the space.
Is it possible to simulate in COMSOL?
This is the deformation shape of the actual film with inadequate pressure at the compression stage. It is unsatisfied cross section.
