It is absolutely mind-blowing and deeply frustrating how complicated it is to center an object in Inventor. Look at Rhino: you select the whole object, the software automatically knows its geometric center, you - dont even have to - type "Move", snap it to 0,0,0 in literally two clicks, and you are done in any viewport. It takes literally 3 seconds. In Rhino, you also have a permanent OSNAP bar where Midpoint, Center, and Quadrant, etc. snaps can always be activated and the whole thing is totally intuitive. Meanwhile in Inventor: If you have an object and simply want to move its entire geometric center to the global origin, you have to waste ages messing around with custom work planes, Direct Edit, or tedious Mate/Flush assembly constraints. You cannot just select the whole thing and drop it into the center. It makes absolutely no sense, kills the workflow, and I literally gave up and closed the software because of this. Not to mention, the entire User Interface looks and feels like it hasn't been updated since 2002. It is outdated, clunky, and completely anti-user. Please implement at least a simple "Align Geometric Center to Origin" button for objects, and completely overhaul the snapping system to be permanently visible. Stop making basic geometry placement a nightmare.
