Try forcing it like my AKN explains.
Might need to look at uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. Once it's DirectX you'll have access to the HA again.
Did this get your the DirectX working
Hi Michael,
It did work, but then I had some other issues.
Anyway, I am currently setting up a new machine which is running Windows 10 and has a Quadro card, so hopefully everything will work fine.
I would review the following:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/simplecontent/content/how-to-mak...
Because Win10 bugs the machine. I have 30 machines with Win7. If you can help thank you. Another user managed to install Autocad 2022 on Win7 but he didn't explain.
You're going to have issues @marifgo C++/.NET limitations I'm betting too. Go to 11 since you don't like 10.

I won't tell the other millions of corporate users who do not have this problem: perhaps a better IT team can resolve it all for you. I suggest, if egos will not be damaged, to hire a capable team from here https://servicesmarketplace.autodesk.com/
Finding a larger reseller outfit, if yours does not offer that service, is another option https://www.autodesk.com/partners/locate-a-reseller
Or as suggested by others, Win11 is your next option.
Hope your IT egos remain intact.
@pendean
Don't think the market place is fully going .. they are changing it some ( more hoops to jump through) .. then it's back April 1st.
yeah .. help set it up only to be told I need to be a "partner" approved Authorized vendor etc etc ... Another day for that story .
Initially I asked for help to install autocad2022 on windows 7 because I received an error after the installation preparation screen and I thought it was because of the system that was causing this error. To my surprise I upgraded win7 to win10 and I get the same error message!
You seem surprised
With all the C++/Net changes and requirements .. You'd be lucky to keep it running long if you were to get it installed.
